Exactly, and surely the refs were on that play as well.

Stevie Wonder is blind. He can't see anything.

As always, you just can't seem to live with reality.

It was a clear foul against Hood. You can't body a player up like that going to the basket. He was clearly knocked off balance. And Thornton got ball and that player launched himself into the air to try and sell a foul. The officials didn't buy it.

Enjoy Duke and State today markie, your two favorite teams.

I look at it as Hood driving to the basket and KJ McDaniels knocking him off balance with a shoulder and NOT making any play on the ball. Clearly, his intent was to get him off balance with enough of his body but not too much to force the ref to call a foul. However, he messed up because the foul was obvious...

I see Thornton with more fingers on the ball than Hall. The strip looks even cleaner here than it did in person, thanks for sharing the photo....

You have to be kidding me. Steve Wonder can see the contact to the forearm. Yes he lost the ball after the hack job.

Excellent angle. It shows the Clemson player was all out of control and had already lost control of the ball.

Like when Hood flopped on the other end?

Pretty clear from that that this was a total acting job. Classic Dookie flop for the win.

Clemson did make way too many turnovers in the endand of course, the opponent's defense had nothing to do with that right?

Depends on how you look at it. Hood initiated the contact and the Clemson player was holding his line. If you call that one, you have to call the Hall foul. Duke escapes with a gift and credit to Coach K, he was working the refs hard at halftime, and working them hard all game to get that no call...if I were a Duke fan, I would not be too proud of that victory...IMHTHO...Clemson did make way too many turnovers in the end.

Clemson's offense = ok drive up the lane, draw contact so ref gives you the bail out foul, make free throws...

College basketball sucks when coaches would rather go for bail out calls than trying to win the game by playing basketball...

When SVP sees the replay and says it's not a foul...you know it's not a foul.

Regardless Rodney was clutch after he was clearly fouled (see replay above) by making those free throws. Good game Clemson.

Someone is mad that the holes could not get close enough to take advantage of the Hess factor.

    LOL

I was pulling for duke, but pausing my DVR clearly shows thornton making FULL ON contact with Hall's shoulder... it wasn't even close.

also, no one seems to be able to find a REPLAY of the phantom foul on hood... weird.

    :)

Multiple replays clearly show no contact. Thornton knocked the ball out. No contact with the Clemson player.

if you can blatantly trip an opposing player driving the lane for the possible winning shot ... and get away with it, no questions asked.
