It's time to win for Duke football

Durham, N.C. — Duke begins football practice today without a key member of the team. Blair Holliday, who was critically injured in a jet ski accident last month, is being transferred to a rehab facility in Atlanta this week.
His teammates went by the hospital to visit him Sunday.
"It was hard for all of us that were there, his teammate and friends, knowing that we had to say goodbye," said head coach David Cutcliffe.
"Everybody's doing fine, they understand that it's a big loss, we were expecting big things out of him," said defensive tackle Sydney Sarmiento. "But it's just like any other injury, you have to bounce back from it. We're always going to keep in our prayers first and foremost."
Durham native Desmond Scott will attempt to fill the void left by Holliday. He's moving from running back to wide receiver.
"It's been fun, I'm not going to say it hasn't been difficult because it has been," said Scott.
There's a clear message from the coaching staff as camp begins, they are tired of being close.
"The camp theme therefore is to make plays that win games, period," said Cutcliff. "That's the only way we're going to win, we've been good. We haven't been a bad football team. There's quality football played out there but not enough to win."
Duke's trying things a little bit different this fall, the coaches gave all the players iPads so they have access to all their playbook and practice video where ever they are on campus. Cutcliffe said he's hopes this technology gives his team an edge come Saturdays.

But all I hear is Coach Cutt is doing a great job!! Last place everyear. I guess Peyton " All about me" Manning was a good sign for Duke football over the summer?

At least the "obligatory article" about Duke football doesn't contain words like scandal, investigation, probation, bowl ban, scholarship reduction, and academic fraud in it.
