Duke will be lacking depth at point guard Tuesday night when it faces Florida State at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Nolan Smith, who took a hard blow to the head on a screen in Duke's win at Maryland Feb. 25, will not play for the second straight game. Smith did not play Saturday in the victory at Virginia Tech.
"Nolan will not play Tuesday," coach Mike Krzyzewski said Monday. "He is coming along, but he still has not done any physical stuff yet. But he is getting better."
Smith was the starting point guard until recent weeks, when Krzyzewski shifted Jon Scheyer to point and put Elliot Williams at shooting guard.
