Lance Thomas is probable for Duke's season-ending game against North Carolina Sunday afternoon after being able to practice with the team Saturday.
During Friday's press conference, Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski said that Thomas would start if he was healthy - it appears that will be the case for the Blue Devils.
Thomas has carved a niche for himself in the Devils' front court as a player that can defend multiple positions and finish offensive possessions with rebounds and putbacks.
Without Thomas, Duke would have had to turn to Brian Zoubek for the start, a player that gives Coach K and the Devils more size, but far less athleticism, a huge disadvantage against a lightning quick North Carolina squad.
