Fourth of July, Father's Day games highlight Bulls' 2015 home schedule

Durham, N.C. — After opening the 2015 regular season on the road, the Durham Bulls will kick off their 72-game home slate on April 15 against the Norfolk Tides, the team announce Wednesday. The regular season concludes at home Sept. 7.
The Bulls will once again host a home game on the Fourth of July, when the division rival Tides visit the DBAP for the team’s annual Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza. Other holiday home games include Memorial Day (May 25), Father’s Day (June 21), and Labor Day (September 7). The Pawtucket Red Sox, Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, return to Durham for a weekend series July 16-19, while the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (New York Yankees) visit May 14-17. The 2015 home schedule features 11 Friday dates, 12 Saturdays and 12 Sundays.
Beginning in 2015, the ACC Baseball Championship will call Downtown Durham home for three consecutive years. While the Bulls travel on a seven-game road trip, pool play for the 2015 ACC Baseball Championship begins at the DBAP on Tuesday, May 19 and culminates with the Conference’s Championship Game on Sunday, May 24.
