NOTES:The PGA Tour travels to West Virginia this week for The Greenbrier
Classic at The Old White TPC. The course is part of The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs. The top two players on the money list are in the field -- Bubba Watson and Jimmy Walker. The purse increased $200,000 from last year to $6.5 million, with the winner receiving $1,170,000.

Bubba Watson is a 2-time winner this year, capturing the Northern Trust Open and his second Masters title. He currently leads the money list with over $5 million in earnings. Walker is second on the money list and is the only 3-time winner on tour this season. He is playing this week for the first time since finishing tied for ninth at the U.S. Open three weeks ago.

The Old White TPC is located in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia. Sam Snead was the resort's pro for 29 years and served as Golf Professional Emeritus from 1993 until his death in 2002. Snead recorded his final hole-in- one in 1995 on the 18th hole. Fellow Hall of Famer Tom Watson became the Golf Professional Emeritus in 2005 and is in the field this week. Watson finished tied for 38th here last year.

Six-time major champion and current broadcaster Nick Faldo is also in the field. Faldo missed the cut at the RBC Heritage in April in his only PGA Tour start this season.

Last year, Jonas Blixt endured a lengthy weather delay in the final round to win as darkness descended. Entering the final round four strokes behind Johnson Wagner, Blixt finally teed off just after 5 p.m. ET after rain halted play at the Old White TPC Course for three-plus hours. When the skies cleared, Blixt countered five birdies against two bogeys in fading light, taking the lead for good with a birdie at the par-4 16th. The 29-year-old Swede parred his final two holes and finished the tournament at 13-under-par 267 for his second PGA Tour win in his 38th start. No 54-hole leader has won this event in its 4-year history.

In 2012, after missing a potential winning putt on the second playoff hole, Ted Potter, Jr. birdied the third extra hole to defeat Troy Kelly. Potter, who earned his first PGA Tour title, fired two rounds of 6-under 64 on the weekend to reach 16-under-par 264 after 72 holes with Kelly.

Scott Stallings trailed by as many as five strokes in the final round in 2011, but birdied the final hole in regulation and the first playoff hole to win. Stallings birdied the 72nd hole, his sixth birdie on the final nine, to join Bob Estes and Bill Haas in the playoff. The trio ended regulation at 10-under- par 270.

In 2010, Stuart Appleby shot a 59 in the final round to win by one stroke over Jeff Overton, becoming only the fifth player in PGA Tour history to reach golf's magic number. It was the first 59 a PGA Tour player carded on a par-70 course and moved Appleby to 22-under 258 for the tournament. The veteran Australian emerged from a 4-year winless drought for his ninth tour title. Appleby joined David Duval as the only players to shoot 59 in the final round to win a tournament. Duval accomplished the feat at the 1999 Bob Hope Classic.

Next week, the PGA Tour heads to Illinois for the final tune-up for the British Open, the John Deere Classic in Silvis, where Jordan Spieth captured the 2013 title.
