Hurricanes reassign Chris Terry to Charlotte

The Carolina Hurricanes have reassigned forward Chris Terry to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League, the team announced Wednesday. 

Terry, 24, was recalled from Charlotte for the second time this season Monday, and he played 13:47 in Carolina's 3-1 win over Columbus on Tuesday. 

Terry has played in eight NHL games this season, averaging 11:38 of ice time. 

The Hurricanes continue their three-game road trip Friday night at 8 p.m. against the Chicago Blackhawks.

    I wish they would keep Terry up for a while. He really impressed me in preseason. But I'm sure the coaches see something they don't like that I didn't see. But I don't do this full time like they do.
