Hurricanes reassign Zac Dalpe to Charlotte

Raleigh, N.C. — The Carolina Hurricanes announced Friday that forward Zac Dalpe has been reassigned to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.
Dalpe, 23, has tallied two assists in seven games with the Hurricanes in the 2013 season.
He ranks second on the Checkers in goals (18) and points (36) in 45 games.
Following Thursday's 4-1 win over Pittsburgh, the Hurricanes return to PNC Arena Saturday at 7 p.m. for a game against the Florida Panthers.
