Hurricanes TV voice John Forslund provides great insight on 99.9 FM The Fan ESPN Radio all season long. He gives commentary on The Sports Lunch at noon every day following a game and on The Insiders on game days.
Mike Maniscalco fielded the tough question to the play-by-play voice and asked him, "The way this roster is constituted right now, injuries and all, is this a playoff roster in Carolina?"
"You would have to logically say no at this point," Forslund said. "I think they have the ability to make a push......but they got to prove they can be consistent enough where they win seven out of ten or where they win four or five in a row."
It's not every day you find a play-by-play voice who will speak his true thoughts about the team he works for. Forslund always tells you like it is with this hockey team both in the good times and the bad. When he is critical of the team he always has the facts and knowledge to back himself up.
