Price for Jordan Staal too high?

I love Jordan Staal, but Sutter and our first pick, seems a little high. Discuss.

This looks like a fate to be determined this coming year. If the team ends up great, everyone will swear this was a great move. If we go into the same old slump everyone will say, I told you this was a bad deal. In my opinion Eric and Jordan will feel very comfortable and feed off of eachother very well. Don't forget, we still have other good players that will contribute. Jeff Skinner,Ruutu, Justin Faulk is coming around big time. I also think Jordan will be great around the net. He pushes players around a little more then Eric and Sutter do.

Terrible trade. All about marketing.

Two brothers on the same team doesn't work. The dynamics get all screwed up and neither play to their potential. In short, the bathroom already has enough Staals.

Only time will tell if i was to steep of price. Jordan has yet play for Canes. With more time on ice. I can see better stat's.

As for brother's doesn't work. Vancouver has done well with the Sedin brother's. I not saying the Staal's will get that many point's. Just giving an example of it working.

OK, that was funny. That said, I think adding a big name to the team, and Jordan IS a big name, does bring respect to the Canes, and it also sends the message that they are tired of sitting at the kid's table and want to sit at the adult's table in the NHL. By paying serious money, JR is showing he's serious about paying to get top shelf talent. I hate that they traded Sutter though.

Jordan Staal =/= Parise, Suter, or Nash.

Well, he tried to get anyone of these guys after we picked up Jordan. You can't do anything about it if the players don't want to come to Carolina. And if a player doesn't really want to come here, I wouldn't want him anyway.

Stop trying to BS me...I know there's only one Sedin though i don't understand why they keep changing his uniform number.

Its also different when there's an age difference between the brothers and they're greedy.

Besides, what have Sedin-1 and Sedin-2 accomplished anyway?
