Thanks, guys. I really want to go to the airport to greet the Canes, and I had no idea where they land. Is the FedEx building closer to 70 than 40?

They land at Millionaire's Hangar next to the FedEx building and is a private aircraft. If you get to the airport after a big game, get there early if you want to park anywhere near the hangar, it gets insane

The Canes always fly a private jet and the jet taxis over to what appears to be a vacant hangar near the FedEx terminal. There is no private runway and the plane does not taxi to general aviation ramps EVER despite what towel boy said...

Flight took off at 1:07AM. Looks like there was a storm that delayed takeoff. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/PCE3941

    Apparently it's "Piedmont 3941".

Here's what's on the blog at the moment:

And here's a link to the flight info, though it doesn't seem to be updated:

Sorry, but there is NO "private runway" at RDU.

Their flight will not necessarily have a "flight number" since it is a charter flight. Count on the aircraft taxiing to one of the general aviation ramps, and the team will disembark there.

Mike Maniscalco (The Fan, on the radio now doing post game show) just said the plane should land at about 2 am.

I'm sorry that I don't, but I heard they land on a private runway at the back of the airport. Call 99 The Fan. I bet they could tell you.
