I'm a Southern boy & have to admit that I did not grow up watching hockey. With that said, I also have to admit that I have been over to the RBC Center to watch the Canes and was very impressed with the fans, the environment, & the effort given by the players, etc. In addition to that, TV does not do that sport any justice as it is much faster & exciting in person. I admit that I love baseball, football, & college Bball but I am now a fan of hockey as it is a fun sport to watch, especially live. Lastly, it's not that often that a city has a team that has the potential to bring them a major sports championship so I say GO CANES as well. If they get eliminated, it's business as usual but until then, I say we support the CANES as they have earned it. Later

Great game ! What a nail biter. The Canes looked like they had a little more gas left in them then the Bruins did coming into the overtime period. Way to stay with it boys. It's on to Pittsburgh. Go Canes !!!!!!

I'm a Carolina fan, but I totally agree with you! GO CANES! One thing I love about the Canes is that it's the only thing that Duke, State and Carolina fans can agree on. United we stand: GO CANES!!!
