Canes recall Dwyer

The Carolina Hurricanes recalled forward Patrick Dwyer from Albany to replace Patick Eaves. Dwyer has played 12 games with Carolina this season, has one NHL goal and will be used on a fourth line with Brandon Sutter and Ryan Bayda.

No details we released on the Eaves injury only he is listed as having an upper body injury. The injured winger has one goal and five assists on the season and had been used as one of Carolina's penalty killers.

Carolina has defenseman Nic Wallin back in the line-up after missing the previous 12 games with a lower body/ankle injury. The Swedish defensman has one goal and eight assists on the season, he will replace Frank Kaberle on the Hurricanes blue line against Tampa Bay.
