Canes recall Michael Ryan from Albany

The Carolina Hurricanes have recalled forward Michael Ryan from the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.
Ryan, 28, has scored 13 goals in Albany’s last 10 games, and leads the River Rats with 23 goals and 36 points in 36 games played this season.
Ryan (6’1”, 188 lbs.) played in two Hurricanes games in his first NHL recall this season, averaging 5:33 of ice time in games against Ottawa and Atlanta.
