The Carolina Hurricanes have activated defenseman Dennis Seidenberg from injured reserve. Seidenberg has missed the Hurricanes’ last six games with a groin injury and has been on the Canes injured list three times this season. Seidenberg’s last game was January 27th when he played 22:07 against the New York Rangers.
Seidenberg has played in 43 of the Hurricanes’ 55 games this season, and ranks third on the team in average ice time at 23:47 per game and has registered 17 points on the season (2g, 15a).
The Hurricanes take on Columbus tomorrow at the RBC Center, no further moves have been announced at this time.
