Canes activate Ruutu from injured reserve

The Carolina Hurricanes have activated forward Tuomo Ruutu from injured reserve, the team announced Tuesday afternoon.
Ruutu has missed the Hurricanes’ last 15 games after sustaining an upper-body injury on Jan. 8 against Colorado.
Ruutu, 26, is tied for second on the team in goals (11) and third in points (25) while playing in 39 of the Hurricanes’ games prior to the injury. The Vantaa, Finland, native is in his sixth NHL season, and has scored 89 goals and earned 106 assists (198 points) in 363 regular-season games with Chicago and Carolina.

Second in goals and third in points? Maybe when he was first injured. At any rate, it will be great to see Tuomo's smiling face back in the lineup!

What a shock - just in time for Rutuu bobblehead night! Just like LaRose! This is weird. We need a Cam Ward bobblehead night, maybe that will make him better, too!
