Duke shot a seven-over 295 Sunday to finish 12th at the Schenkel Invitational with a 22-over 886 at Forest Height Country Club. Senior Austin Cody competed as an individual and was Duke's top finisher with a four-over 220.

Host Georgia Southern shot a 14-under 850 to run away with the team title. UAB was second with a six-under 858 with Central Florida (-2, 862), Virginia (+4, 868) and Texas (+4, 868) rounding out the top five. Scott Wolfes (Georgia Southern) posted a four-under 68 in the final round to claim individual medalist honors with a seven-under 209. Martin Rohwer (UAB) was two shots back with Virginia's Jimmy Stanger finishing third with a four-under 212.

Cody posted a two-over 74 Sunday to finish 31st with a two-over 220 (72-74-74). The North Charleston, S.C., native began the day with a bogey on No. 17 before rattling off eight straight pars. He birdied two of the next three holes to move into red figures before suffering three bogeys over the final five holes of play.

Freshman Max Greyserman carded Duke's low round of the day with a one-under 71. The Short Hills, N.J., native had five birdies, nine pars and four bogeys on the day to finish tied for 40th overall. Greyserman now has four under-par rounds on the season.

Alexander Matlari recorded a three-over 75 to tie for 55th with a nine-over 225. He played the opening 14 holes Sunday at even-par with three birdies and three bogeys before struggling down the stretch with three bogeys on the final four holes of play.

Junior Turner Southey-Gordon also posted a three-over 75 in the final round. The Toronto native got off to a slow start and was five-over after six holes before settling in. He played the remaining 12 holes at two-under with birdies on No. 5 (par 4) and No. 9 (par 5). Southey-Gordon closed the tournament tied for 65th with an 11-over 227.

Sophomore Motin Yeung finished tied for 71st with a 12-over 228 after recording a 74 Sunday. He played steady golf throughout the day with 16 pars and two bogeys.

Michael Ricaurte posted an 80 in the final round to finish one shot behind Yeung with a 229.

Duke returns to action March 23-25 at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate in Awendaw, S.C. The Blue Devils claimed the 2013 Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate title, while Cody finished second at the event a year ago.
