Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan is out of Tuesday's starting lineup.
Insight: Pagan was also double-switched out of Monday's game, so something may be going on here. Gregor Blanco will start in center. Stay tuned for updates on Pagan.

5/19/2015 6:30:00 PM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan will start on Tuesday versus the Dodgers.
Insight: Pagan missed Sunday's game after he left Saturday's game with back spasms. He is in center field and batting third.

5/19/2015 9:52:00 AM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan (back) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the LA Dodgers.
Insight: Pagan was forced to leave Saturday's contest with back spasms, and will be given the day off on Sunday. Pagan has been one of the few guys in the Giants lineup to hit the ball and they can't afford to be without his .324 batting average for long.

5/17/2015 11:00:00 AM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan (back) is out Sunday.
Insight: Pagan was forced to leave Saturday's contest with back spasms, and will be given the day off on Sunday. Consider himn day-to-day for now.

5/6/2015 1:46:00 PM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan is back in the starting lineup on Wednesday.
Insight: Pagan injured his middle finger on his left hand while sliding into second base on Monday and missed Tuesday game. Pagan is hitting .350/.373/.447 this season.

5/5/2015 9:37:00 PM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan was a late scratch Tuesday due to a laceration on his left middle finger.
Insight: Pagan is day-to-day. Gregor Blanco will start in center, with Justin Maxwell getting the nod in right.

4/26/2015 9:10:00 AM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan went 4-for-6 with a run scored in the, 5-4, 10th inning victory over the Rockies on Saturday.
Insight: Pagan scored on Buster Posey's double in the first but didn't produce anymore runs in the game. Still, owners love the .355/.390/.447 slashing line to start the season.

4/15/2015 9:33:00 AM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan went 3-for-4 during Tuesday's loss to the Rockies.
Insight: Pagan is off to a nice start with a .333/.405/.515 line, as he is trying to rebound from an injury plagued 2014 season.

4/7/2015 9:28:00 AM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan got the season off to a quick start with three hits, two for extra bases, and a couple of RBI.
Insight: Pagan hasn't played more than 96 games in each of the last two seasons, but a lot is expected of him this season. He's batting No. 3 in the lineup and could be in for a big season of he can stay on the field.

3/21/2015 10:42:00 AM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan (back surgery last September) had two injections in his lower back on Friday, according to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: Pagan hasn't played more than 96 games in each of the last two seasons and he may also lose his spot at the top of the lineup to Norichika Aoki. He's got talent, but he is a high-risk pick that fantasy owners shouldn't take until late in the draft, if at all.

2/24/2015 11:50:00 AM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan (back surgery last September) says he's without restrictions and feels good, according to beat writer Alex Pavlovic.
Insight: OK, everyone feels good the first day of spring training. Pagan hasn't played more than 96 games in each of the last two seasons. He may also lose his spot at the top of the lineup to Norichika Aoki, so drafting Pagan comes with multiple red flags.

9/23/2014 8:25:00 PM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan is done for the season after it was announced he will undergo season-ending back surgery.
Insight: He will have the procedure on Thursday, and Gregor Blanco and Juan Perez will continue to handle the center field duties. In 96 games, Pagan hit .300 with three homeruns and had 16 stolen bases. He should be ready for spring training.

9/21/2014 6:10:00 PM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan is questionable to play in the upcoming series against the Dodgers.
Insight: Giants manager Bruce Bochy told the San Francisco Chronicle this news on Saturday. San Francisco would love to get Pagan back for the final week as they continue to fight for the top wild card spot, but do not be surprised if he plays sparingly until the playoffs.

9/14/2014 12:33:00 PM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan is a career .314 (11-for-35) hitter against Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw.
Insight: Pagan also has three doubles against Kershaw. It is hard justifying starting anyone against Kershaw, but if you are going to plug anyone in against the tough lefty, it should be Pagan.

9/5/2014 10:40:00 AM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan should be back in the lineup Friday, according to his manager Bruce Bochy. Update: Pagan is in the starting lineup.
Insight: Pagan has been dealing with a stiff back. He's batting .303 with 50 runs scored in 86 games and is a major catalyst in the Giants offense.

9/1/2014 10:25:00 AM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan has helped the Giants offense since his return from the disabled list by batting .305 in his last 21 games, but probably won't be much help to fantasy owners Monday in an unfavorable matchup.
Insight: Pagan is 0-for-8 with five strikeouts against Colorado left-hander Franklin Morales.

8/28/2014 6:47:00 PM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Thursday's victory over the Rockies.
Insight: Pagan also had a stole base. The center fielder broke out of a little slump as he came into the game hitting .188 in his last four games.

8/24/2014 3:52:00 PM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan (calf) is expected to return Monday, according to Alex Pavlovic of the Bay Area News Group.
Insight: Pagan was out of the lineup two of the past three games with calf tightness, but it isn't considered a major issue for the veteran.

8/23/2014 1:52:00 PM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan (calf) is in the lineup Saturday against Washington.
Insight: Pagan went 2-for-5 before leaving Friday's game with calf tightness, but it was a precautionary move. He's leading off and playing center field.

8/22/2014 10:59:00 PM
Description: Giants center fielder Angel Pagan left Friday's game with calf tightness, according to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: Pagan went 2-for-5 before being replaced in center field by Gregor Blanco in the bottom of the ninth. The Giants were up 10-2 at the time so it was probably a precautionary measure. He's day-to-day.
