Description: Rich Hill, less than a year removed from having Tommy John surgery, has been activated from the disabled list.

Description: The St. Louis Post Dispatch reports Hill has been converted into a reliever at Triple-A Memphis.
Insight: Hill could become a free agent on June 1 if he is not in the big leagues. Maybe another team would give him an opportunity to be a starter. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: Hill was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left elbow.

Description: Hill is not in the mix to make the Cubs rotation, according to the Chicago Sun Times.
