Description: Astros outfielder Alex Presley suffered a setback from his oblique injury over the weekend and will not play again for 7-10 days.
Insight: Presley has been out since July 8 with a strained right oblique. He was scratched last week from a rehab game for Class A Tri-City due to discomfort. Presley is batting .252 with five home runs and 13 RBI in 206 at-bats this season.

Description: Pirates outfielder Alex Presley is doubtful for Wednesday's game against Houston with concussion-like symptoms.
Insight: Presley (.242, 6 HR, 13 RBI, 8 SB in 60 games) was called up from Triple-A after getting sent down in mid-May. The outfielder has the potential to be a nice speed option for those who need it, but doesn't do enough things well to warrant a fantasy roster spot.

Description: Pirates outfielder Alex Presley went 2-for-5 with a solo homer in his return to the majors Tuesday against Cincinnati.
Insight: Presley was called up from Triple-A after getting sent down in mid-May. The outfielder has the potential to be a nice speed option for those who need it.

Description: Alex Presley is not on Pittsburgh's lineup card for this evening's game against the Nationals.
Insight: Presley didn't start yesterday either and it doesn't appear that he is dealing with an injury. Presley's batting average has dropped more than 50 points in his last nine games, so maybe that's why manager Clint Hurdle has been sitting him.

4/20/2012 10:27:00 PM
Description: Alex Presley hustled around the bases for an inside the park homer Friday night in a loss to the Cardinals.
Insight: Presley isn't on anybody's fantasy radar quite yet but this will be his first full season in the major leagues and if he can turn the speed he showed on that inside-the-parker into stolen bases (he has two so far this season), the 26-year-old will start to turn some heads.
