Description: Blue Jays starter J.A. Happ earns 11th win in final start of 2014.
Insight: He has been up and down all year, but pitched well against Baltimore on Saturday. Happ went seven innings of two-run ball, on four hits and two walks, with four strikeouts. He finshes the year at 11-11 with a 4.22 ERA. Happ's inconsistency makes him a risky pick heading into 2015.

9/22/2014 10:31:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays starter J.A. Happ pitched seven innings and allowed two runs on seven hits to beat the Mariners on Monday.
Insight: Happ gave up a RBI-double to Robinson Cano and a solo home run to Kyle Seager. Happ has been inconsistent from start to start, but there has only been one month this year where his ERA was not between 4.00 and 4.60. Happ is 10-11 with a 4.27 ERA and 129 strikeouts in 151 2/3 innings this year.

9/12/2014 10:13:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays starter J.A. Happ went seven strong innings on Friday, allowed one run on two hits, struck out seven and walked none but lost, 1-0, to the Rays.
Insight: After a rough August, Happ has pitched better in September with little results. Happ is 1-1 with a 3.60 ERA in 20 innings over his last three starts. For the season, the 31-year-old is 9-10 with a 4.28 ERA and 119 strikeouts.

8/31/2014 5:21:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays starter J.A. Happ went seven strong innings on Sunday against the Yankees, allowing three runs, striking out six and walking none.

6/26/2014 10:33:00 PM
Description: Toronto starter J.A. Happ battened down the hatches Thursday against the White Sox.

5/25/2014 7:48:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ tossed seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts Sunday against the Athletics.
Insight: Happ has gone 4-1 with a 3.20 ERA in five starts since he rejoined the rotation, but a 1.58 WHIP and a 1.52 HR/9 make him risky.

3/26/2014 4:23:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ (back) will begin the year on the disabled list, according to the Toronto Star.
Insight: Happ gave up 16 earned runs and 21 hits while walking nine in seven innings this spring. He'll try to work out his issues and can be ignored by fantasy owners.

3/6/2014 2:20:00 PM
Description: Toronto lefthander J.A. Happ has been dealing with a sore back and it shows in his early work (1.3 IP, 40.50 ERA, 8.25 WHIP).
Insight: Happ (5-7, 4.56 ERA) is thought to be solidly in the Blue Jays rotation, but after last season's performance if a young guy shows up big in spring training, its possible Happ gets left behind.

8/12/2013 7:35:00 PM
Description: Toronto lefthander J.A. Happ has been placed on bereavement leave.
Insight: Happ (2-2, 5.11 ERA) should be back in time for his next start Saturday against Tampa Bay.

8/12/2013 3:00:00 PM
Description: After giving up seven runs in his first start in three months, Blue Jays left-hander J.A. Happ was on target for seven innings Monday afternoon.

8/6/2013 9:10:00 AM
Description: Blue Jays left-hander J.A. Happ has been activated from the 60-day disabled list and is expected to start on Wednesday.
Insight: Happ hasn't pitched since being hit in the head by a line drive on May 7. He's made seven starts this season, going 2-2 with a 4.91 ERA and 1.55 WHIP and didn't look very good in three Triple-A rehab starts (6.75 ERA) so still has very little fantasy value.

7/13/2013 11:54:00 AM
Description: Blue Jays starter J.A. Happ has been sent on a rehab assignment.
Insight: Happ hasn't pitched since being hit in the head by a line drive on May 7. The left-hander's head injuries have healed but he also suffered a sprained knee on the play. He's still not expected to return to the big club until August and has little fantasy value.

5/9/2013 6:36:00 PM
Description: In addition to a fracture behind his ear, Blue Jays starter J.A. Happ has a right knee sprain. It won't require surgery, but the left-hander still will miss 4-6 weeks, according to Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com.
Insight: Happ was hit by a line drive during Tuesday's start and had some bleeding from his ear. He didn't suffer a concussion and a CT scan showed no damage to his brain or spine, according to CBSSports.com. Happ also suffered the knee injury while falling after being struck by the ball.

5/8/2013 5:21:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays starter J.A. Happ has a small fracture behind his left ear, but the injury is "not serious or threatening," according to John Lott of the National Post.
Insight: Happ was hit by a line drive during Tuesday's start and had some bleeding from his ear.
