Nash, Wallace reassigned to Charlotte for playoffs

The Carolina Hurricanes announced on Wednesday that center Riley Nash and forward Tim Wallace have been reassigned to the Charlotte Checkers and will join the American Hockey League affiliate for the Calder Cup playoffs.
Both players will join the Checkers roster in time for Friday's Western Conference Quarterfinals series at Oklahoma City.
Nash, 23, scored four goals and tallied five assists in 32 games for the Hurricanes in 2013. In Charlotte, he tallied 13 goals and 24 assists in 51 games.
Wallace scored one goal and tallied two assists in 26 games with Carolina. The 28-year-old also spent time in Charlotte, tallying 22 points in 47 AHL games.
