Insight: Portland is seeking a protective covering for Batum's face in advance of Sunday's game against the Rockets, Batum's agent said. He was able to play through the injury Friday but now that the Trail Blazers know his nose is broken they won't put him on the court without a mask.

Insight: Batum hasn't missed a game yet this season. The Trail Blazers still don't have a viable option behind Batum (12.8 ppg, 5.4 apg, 6.4 rpg) at small forward so he should see plenty of minutes on Friday.
