Description: Utah center Andris Biedrins is questionable for Friday's game against Cleveland due to flu-like symptoms.
Insight: Biedrins hasn't been fantasy worthy since 2008 when he averaged 11.9 ppg and 11.2 rpg at Godlen State. Those days are long gone.

11/5/2013 11:50:00 AM
Description: Utah center Andris Biedrins is doubtful for Tuesday's game against Brooklyn due to a sprained left ankle.
Insight: Biedrins doesn't have much fantasy value playing behind Enes Kanter and Rudy Bobert. His best season was 2008 when he averaged 11.9 ppg and 11.2 rpg at Godlen State but those days are long gone.

10/28/2013 4:55:00 PM
Description: Utah center Andris Biedrins is doubtful for Wednesday's game against Oklahoma City with a strained right rotator cuff.
Insight: Biedrins doesn't have much fantasy value playing behind Enes Kanter and Rudy Bobert. His best season was 2008 when he averaged 11.9 ppg and 11.2 rpg at Godlen State but those days are long gone.

4/23/2013 2:15:00 PM
Description: Golden State Warriors center Andris Biedrins is questionable for Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals Tuesday against Denver with tightness in his lower back.
Insight: Biedrins didn't play Saturday, but could be used if he dresses on Tuesday because the Warriors are going to be without David Lee for the remainder of the playoffs. He still wouldn't have much fantasy value. Carl Landry and Andrew Bogut should be the guys up front for Golden State.

4/30/2011 4:43:00 PM
Description: Andris Biedrins, Warriors GM and his agent on Thursday will discuss complete physical and mental training program for Biedrins to follow this summer. SOURCE: The Chronicle
Insight: If you're a fantasy basketball guy, you're rooting against this man so Udoh could bust out. Biedrins is always hurt and shot 17 percent from the line two seasons ago. He more than doubled it last year and should not be a target in any league.

3/21/2011 12:00:00 PM
Description: Biedrins is expected to miss the rest of the season because of his sprained ankle.
Insight: Darn. Maybe this will clear the way for someone who can actually post some useful numbers. That said, next man in Ekpe Udoh hasn't done much in the first two games without Biedrins. (RapidDraft.com)

3/18/2011 2:05:00 AM
Description: Biedrins will miss his team's four-game road trip while recovering from a badly sprained left ankle.
Insight: The injury came Wednesday night and will keep Biedrins' 5 points and 7.2 rebounds per game out of the lineup. (RapidDraft.com)

1/31/2011 1:41:00 AM
Description: Andris Biedrins put the finishing touches on a good week with 11 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks, and a steal in the win over Utah.
Insight: He should be owned in most leagues, but given his injury history and free throw shooting woes, he's not exactly our cup o' tea. Scoop him and try to sell high in a couple days.

12/16/2010 7:02:00 PM
Description: Biedrins did not return to practice today after tweaking his left ankle.
Insight: Hopefully this doesn't become an issue for him. Golden State doesn't play until Saturday, so that gives him some extra time to heal. (RapidDraft.com)

12/1/2010 10:05:00 AM
Description: Biedrins hauled down 18 rebounds as the Warriors lost to the Spurs. He only had four points and took just six shots.
Insight: Biedrins has four straight double-digit rebounding efforts and David Lee's return has not hurt his productivity. He is avergaing 10.4 boards per game. (RapidDraft.com)

11/27/2010 12:05:00 PM
Description: Andris Biedrins had a monster game of 28 points, 21 points, two steals, and a block in 42 minutes.
Insight: The Warriors needed Andris to combat Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph. It didn't really work since they lost, but this is obviously great news for his owners. He should be owned in all leagues after this line and should always be considered a sell-high player with his propensity to get hurt.

11/27/2010 7:00:00 AM
Description: Biedrins had a monster game in a loss to the Grizzlies. He had 28 points and 21 rebounds, both season highs. He was 13-for-15 from the field.
Insight: Biedrins had only scored in double-digits once in November. He is averaging 6.5 points and 9.1 rebounds, so he is a feast-or-famine kind of player. (RapidDraft.com)

11/8/2010 1:00:00 PM
Description: Biedrins brought down 13 more rebounds and now has 33 rebounds in his last two games. He scored six points on six shots.
Insight: Biedrins has not scored in double-digits this season. That is not his role. He is on the court to play defense and get boards. Biedrins in averaging 10.2 rebounds. (RapidDraft.com)

11/6/2010 10:05:00 AM
Description: Biedrins hauled down 20 rebounds to push the Warriors past the Jazz. He added eight points.
Insight: Biedrins and David Lee form a dynamic rebounding combo and had a combined 14 offensive rebounds against Utah. Biedrins had a combined 17 rebounds in his previous three games. (RapidDraft.com)

10/22/2010 11:01:00 AM
Description: Biedrins produced 11 points and 13 rebounds in a loss to the Lakers.
Insight: It will be interesting to see how Biedrins and David Lee share the frontcourt with the Warriors. My guess is that they will do well with Lee providing slightly superior stats. (RapidDraft.com)

9/29/2010 1:10:00 PM
Description: Andris Biedrins said that he is 100 percent healthy entering the season. SOURCE: Contra Costa Times
Insight: 100 percent is not the first percentage that comes to mind with Biedrins. Biedrins shot an abysmal 16 percent from the line last year and says he should expect to make 60 percent this year. Yeah, OK. However, now that Don Nelson is out of the picture, the Warriors are expected to play more defense and Biedrins is certainly part of those plans. He is going to slip a lot in drafts and there are probably better options out there in standard leagues.

9/29/2010 1:00:00 PM
Description: The Golden State center has declared that he is now 100% healthy after having abdominal surgery, and coach Keith Smart said he was "moving like a guard" during conditioning drills.
Insight: Biedrins is expected to be more involved in the Warriors' offense this year as well--in pick and rolls, in the low post, and even taking some mid-range jumpers. (RapidDraft.com)
