Description: Indiana will be without center Andrew Bynum for the rest of the 2014 playoffs. SOURCE: NBA.com
Insight: Knee issues have plagued Bynum for most of the last two seasons. He averaged 18.7 ppg as recently as 2012 but we're not holding out much hope for Bynum's future in the NBA. The 26-year-old is going to be a free agent this summer.

Description: Pacers center Andrew Bynum won't play in the first round against Atlanta. SOURCE: Scott Agness, Pacers.com
Insight: Fluid buildup in Bynum's knee has kept him out since March 15th. It would be very surprising to see Bynum (8.7 ppg, 5.6 rpg) play at any point during Indiana's postseason run.

Description: Pacers coach Frank Vogel expects center Andrew Bynum to be out "a while." SOURCE: NBC's Pro Basketball Talk
Insight: He had his knee drained earlier this week. Bynum looked like he was on his way to being a superstar after his breakout 2011-12 season (18.7 ppg, 11.8 rpg) but injuries and a lack of commitment have sent his career into a tailspin.

Description: Indiana center Andrew Bynum had his knee drained on Monday. SOURCE: Scott Agness, Pacers.com
Insight: He's not going to play Wednesday against the Knicks. The Pacers already have Roy Hibbert at center so they can afford to give Bynum (8.7 ppg, 5.6 rpg) as much time as he needs to recover. Consider the 7-footer out indefinitely.

3/18/2014 12:06:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Andrew Bynum is dealing with swelling in his knee and is expected to miss Wednesday's game against New York.
Insight: Bynum has been productive in two games with Indiana, averaging 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds, but if he can't play multiple games even with a rest day in between then his value in the playoffs will be limited.

3/17/2014 5:56:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Andrew Bynum is dealing with swelling in his knee and will miss Monday's game.
Insight: Bynum has been productive in two games with Indiana, averaging 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds, but it isn't a good sign that his knees are already giving him an issue despite playing 18 minutes per game.

3/16/2014 9:15:00 AM
Description: Pacers center Andrew Bynum crammed a lot into 20 minutes Saturday against Detroit.
Insight: Bynum finished with 15 points on 6-for-18 shooting. He also contributed nine rebounds, one assist and one block. The Pacers are probably going to be pretty careful with Bynum down the stretch, which means there's no guarantee he'll play Monday against the Sixers.

3/15/2014 6:54:00 PM
Description: Indiana center Andrew Bynum is back after missing Friday's game against Philadelphia. SOURCE: Pacers on Twitter
Insight: According to Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star, Bynum hopes to begin playing back-to-backs next week. He put up eight points and ten rebounds Tuesday in his Pacers debut.

3/13/2014 4:59:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Andrew Bynum will not play Friday against the 76ers, the team announced. However, he'll be back Saturday.
Insight: Perhaps the Pacers wanted to protect Bynum from the vitriol Philadelphia's crowd would have spewed at him had he played. The center made his Pacers debut Tuesday and had eight points and 10 rebounds over 16 minutes, but he probably won't play much more than that as Roy Hibbert's backup. The Pacers signed him to serve as insurance in the playoffs should Hibbert get into foul trouble or injured.

3/12/2014 5:16:00 PM
Description: Pacers coach Frank Vogel said he'll hold Andrew Bynum out of practice Thursday to protect his knees with the hope that he'll be able to play Friday and Saturday.
Insight: Bynum had eight points and 10 rebounds over 16 minutes in his team debut Tuesday against the Celtics. He probably won't play much more than that as Roy Hibbert's backup. The Pacers signed him to serve as insurance in the playoffs should Hibbert get into foul trouble or injured.

3/11/2014 9:52:00 PM
Description: Andrew Bynum played well in his debut for Indiana Tuesday against Boston.
Insight: In 16 minutes, Bynum corralled ten rebounds while shooting 3-of-4 from the field. Best of all, Bynum actually played with enthusiasm and heart. He's not going to be much of a fantasy asset with Roy Hibbert standing in his way, but Bynum could be an important factor when the Pacers get to the playoffs.

3/11/2014 6:18:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Andrew Bynum is expected to play 15 minutes in his team debut Tuesday, according to the Pacers on Twitter.
Insight: There's no need to own Bynum in fantasy. He's just here as playoff insurance for Roy Hibbert.

3/11/2014 12:42:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Andrew Bynum is expected to return to the court on Tuesday, replacing injured Ian Mahinmi in the Pacers' lineup, according to coach Frank Vogel.
Insight: Bynum will see the floor, but we don't expect him to have any fantasy value. He's still a backup to Roy Hibbert and the Pacers have plenty of offensive weapons.

3/10/2014 11:19:00 AM
Description: Pacers center Andrew Bynum is targeting the Sixers game on Friday for a return.
Insight: The Pacers' depth chart has Bynum buried and he is not a fantasy option.

2/18/2014 11:05:00 AM
Description: Pacers center Andrew Bynum stayed in Indianapolis during the All-Star break getting treatment, but isn't expected to attempt to play for another week.
Insight: At No. 3 on the Pacers' depth chart Bynum is not a fantasy option. If you see him on the waiver wire, keep moving on.

2/6/2014 6:56:00 PM
Description: Head coach Frank Vogel doesn't expect center Andrew Bynum to crack Indiana's rotation anytime soon. SOURCE: Scott Agness, Pacers.com
Insight: This pretty much confirms what we already knew: Bynum is not a fantasy option. If you see him on the waiver wire, don't bother.

2/4/2014 7:54:00 PM
Description: As expected, Indiana center Andrew Bynum won't compete in Tuesday's game versus the Hawks. SOURCE: Chris Vivlamore, Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Insight: Bynum is expected to make his Pacers debut sometime later this week. Roy Hibbert (12.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 2.5 bpg) is still the team's best option at center, which means fantasy owners shouldn't be in a rush to add Bynum to their rosters.

2/3/2014 10:33:00 AM
Description: Pacers center Andrew Bynum won't play until he's worked with the team for a "couple of weeks" according to coach Frank Vogel.
Insight: You are not getting the Bynum who averaged 18.7 ppg and 11.8 rpg for the Lakers in 2011. He'll backup Roy Hibbert and probably won't see more than a handful of minutes most nights. Keep looking.

2/1/2014 7:55:00 PM
Description: The Pacers have signed center Andrew Bynum for the rest of the season. SOURCE: Pacers.com
Insight: He'll backup Roy Hibbert and probably won't see more than a handful of minutes most nights. Fantasy owners looking for a productive center on waivers will have to keep looking.

1/7/2014 4:21:00 PM
Description: The Bulls have already waived center Andrew Bynum, according to the Chicago Tribune. Chicago traded Luol Deng to Cleveland for Bynum and three draft picks on Monday night.
Insight: Chicago needed to waive Bynum before the second half of his $12.3 million contract became guaranteed on Tuesday. After missing all of last season, Bynum signed with Cleveland and averaged 20 minutes, 8.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 24 games (19 starts) before being suspended for detrimental conduct.
