Bulls, Warriors clash at Oracle Arena

(SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bulls stopped a two-game losing streak last time out and will continue their long road trip Thursday night when they visit Oracle Arena to take on the Golden State Warriors.

The Bulls started their six-game odyssey with a win over the San Antonio Spurs, but dropped back-to-back contests against the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings.

But the rut ended with a 101-92 victory over the Suns on Tuesday.

Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah each recorded double-doubles and D.J. Augustin poured in 18 points off the bench for Chicago.

Boozer finished with 19 points and 12 rebounds while Noah had a 14-point, 14- rebound night for the Bulls, who ended Phoenix's five-game winning streak one day after suffering a humbling 29-point loss in Sacramento.

"I think as a team I think we played with a great edge throughout," Noah said. "We got punched in the mouth in Sacramento and we just wanted to come out and compete for 48 minutes as a team."

Jimmy Butler finished with 18 points and Mike Dunleavy added 11.

The Bulls will finish their road trip against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.

The Warriors had a two-game winning streak halted on Tuesday as they suffered an embarrassing 91-75 loss at home to the Charlotte Bobcats.

That was Golden State's sixth loss in its last 10 and its fourth home setback in the last six tries.

"We have to find a way to get out of this. Right now we are taking the life out of the building and we are letting our offense affect our play," said head coach Mark Jackson. "This is a make or miss league. Just disappointing. Just another game where, give them credit they came in and played well. It's a game we should win."

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson paced the Warriors with 17 and 12 points, respectively. Curry also had 11 assists, but the club posted its lowest output since putting up a season-low 74 points in a loss to San Antonio on Nov. 8.

Golden State shot 4-of-20 from the perimeter and 29-for-93 from the field.

David Lee played through a sprained left shoulder and shot just 3-of-13 from the field for eight points. Andrew Bogut pulled down 15 rebounds in the losing effort.

The Bulls won both of last season's meetings, but have dropped 11 of their 14 trips to Oracle Arena.
