NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Saturday, November 16th (All times Eastern)

Miami Heat (6-3) at Charlotte Bobcats (5-4), 7 p.m.

(SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Heat have won five of their last six and will try for a road victory over Southeast rivals, the Charlotte Bobcats Saturday night at The Time Warner Cable Arena.

The Heat knocked off the Dallas Mavericks at home Friday night, 110-104. Miami won the game thanks to a great second quarter, which the Heat won 29-19, and turnovers. The Heat forced 24 Dallas turnovers, which they parlayed into 24 points.

Miami has scored over 100 points in every game this season and the offense was on showcase Friday night. The heat shot 54.1 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line, a spot they visited 30 times against the Mavericks.

"When we share the ball, like we've been doing this part of the season, offensively, we can't be stopped," said LeBron James. "You don't know where it's coming from. It's great. It's fun to play in a system like this where everyone is unselfish."

James was outstanding on Friday with 39 points on 14-for-18 shooting. He added six rebounds and four assist, but did turn the ball over six times.

Dwyane Wade added 17 points, followed by 14 from Chris Bosh. Rashard Lewis and Norris Cole each had 11 off the bench for the Heat, who are 1-2 on the road this season.

Ray Allen (flu) and Udonis Haslem (back) both missed their second straight game. Their availability for Saturday is unknown.

The Bobcats have won two in a row, thanks to back-to-back road wins this week. On Friday, Charlotte knocked off the previously unbeaten at home Cleveland Cavaliers, 86-80.

Charlotte, which has lost two straight at home, only managed 33 points at the half against Cleveland, but tallied 53 in the second half. The Bobcats outscored the Cavs, 29-22 in the final frame, while shooting 56.3 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc in the fourth quarter.

"It was all effort. We wanted to win," said Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson, who finished with eight points. "This is the kind of team we can be all season, as long as we keep working together and playing hard."

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist led Charlotte with 16 points, while Josh McRoberts scored 13. Kemba Walker and Ramon Sessions had 12 apiece and Jeff Taylor contributed 11 off the bench. Bismack Biyombo didn't score a single point, but he did grab 12 rebounds.

The Heat have won 12 in a row over the Bobcats and five of those victories came in Charlotte.
