Description: Hornets center Bismack Biyombo has suffered a bone bruise and will miss the next 10 days at which time he will be re-evaluated, according to the team's site.
Insight: Biyombo has no fantasy value, but his absence pushes Al Jefferson back into the starting lineup.

1/21/2015 9:28:00 PM
Description: Hornets center Bismack Biyombo posted a double-double during Wednesday's win against the Heat.
Insight: He had 12 points and 12 rebounds, along with two blocks, one steal, and two turnovers. Biyombo can be kept on the waiver wire for now.

1/10/2015 3:29:00 PM
Description: Hornets center Bismack Biyombo posted a double-double on Saturday.
Insight: He had 14 points and 12 rebounds, while shooting 5-of-7 from the floor and 4-of-5 from the line. Biyombo will continue to have value with Al Jefferson sidelined.

1/8/2015 1:18:00 PM
Description: Hornets center Bismack Biyombo will continue to start for injured Al Jefferson, but his fantasy value is limited to rebounds.
Insight: Biyombo is seeing 25 minutes per night since the injury, but is averaging just 3.6 points, 6.8 rebounds in those last five games and isn't a good fantasy option.

12/11/2013 11:42:00 AM
Description: Bobcats center Bismack Biyombo (ankle) will not play Wednesday.
Insight: Biyombo also sat out Monday. He is averaging 3.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game this season and isn't a fantasy option.

12/9/2013 10:38:00 AM
Description: Bobcats center Bismack Biyombo is questionable for Monday's game against Golden State after spraining his right ankle during Friday's game.
Insight: Biyombo did not practice over the weekend so he's probably more doubtful than questionable. He is averaging 3.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game this season and isn't a fantasy option.

12/6/2013 8:32:00 PM
Description: Bobcats center Bismack Biyombo sprained his right ankle during Friday's game and will not return, according to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer.
Insight: Biyombo is averaging 20 minutes, 3.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game this season and isn't a fantasy option.

Hot4/13/2013 9:56:00 PM
Description: Bobcats center Bismack Biyombo posted his sixth double-double of the season Saturday against the Bucks.
Insight: Biyombo has been a monster on the boards recently. Over his last six games, Biyombo is averaging 11 rpg. The 17 rebounds he corralled Saturday matched a season-high.

3/23/2013 9:47:00 PM
Description: Charlotte center Bismack Biyombo had 12 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks Saturday against Detroit.
Insight: Biyombo had not scored in double figures since Jan. 26 and he hadn't grabbed double-digit rebounds since Feb. 22. His 1.7 blocks per game would look a lot more appealing to fantasy owners if he could maintain some production in other areas.

1/6/2013 10:28:00 PM
Description: Bobcats big man Bismack Biyombo corralled a season-high 17 rebounds Sunday in an overtime win against the Pistons.
Insight: Sunday was Biyombo's second double-double of the season. He's still very raw but then again, most 20-year-olds are. Biyombo is already an above average rebounder (6.9 rpg in only 25 minutes per contest) and an excellent shot blocker (1.5 bpg). Fantasy owners just need him to score more (4.7 ppg).

11/30/2012 9:35:00 PM
Description: Charlotte center Bismack Biyombo had a season-high 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting with seven rebounds and three blocks in 24 minutes off the bench Friday against Philadelphia.
Insight: It was just the second time this season that Biyombo has scored double-digit points. If you do own the Bobcats center, it's for his shot rejections -- he's averaging 1.8 blocks per game and 4.32 per 48 minutes.

11/26/2012 10:04:00 AM
Description: Charlotte center Bismack Biyombo is questionable for Monday's game against Oklahoma City with a bruised left leg.
Insight: Biyombo missed Satuday's game after playing 19 disappointing minutes Friday night. He's averaging just 3.3 ppg, 4.9 rpg and 1.5 bpg. Biyombo as the athletic body to improve but the jury is still out on whether he will develop into a fantasy-worthy asset.

3/23/2012 8:41:00 PM
Description: Bismack Biyombo is expected to see a huge rise in minutes now that Boris Diaw is gone and DeSagana Dip and Eduardo Najera are both out with injuries.
Insight: Biyombo will finally get a chance to show Bobcats fans why he was the seventh pick in the draft last June. He barely scores (4.4 ppg) but Biyombo can give you plenty of rebounds (9.2 ppg over his last 10 games) and blocks (1.8 bpg) if you need help in those categories.
