NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Tuesday, November 26th (All times Eastern)

Golden State Warriors (8-6) at New Orleans Pelicans (6-7), 8 p.m.

(SportsNetwork.com) - The Golden State Warriors will try to put an end to a three-game losing streak Tuesday night when they kick off a road trip in New Orleans.

The Warriors fell to the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers during this slide with the Memphis loss and Portland loss at home.

After Tuesday's tilt with the Pelicans, Golden State will visit Dallas, Oklahoma City and Sacramento.

The Warriors will play Tuesday's game short-handed. Andre Iguodala is out indefinitely with a left hamstring strain and center Andrew Bogut has been suspended one game for his involvement in a fight against the Blazers on Saturday.

"I'm not happy with it, but you've got to accept it and move on," head coach Mark Jackson said of the suspension. "We've got to have guys step up and be ready to play."

Jackson indicated that Jermaine O'Neal, who has been sidelined with a bruised right knee and a groin strain, practiced and could play if he's pain free. O'Neal will be a game-time decision.

The Pelicans had a three-game winning streak crash to an end on Monday night with a 112-93 setback in San Antonio to the Spurs. New Orleans was down 17 at the half in a pretty forgettable performance.

The Pelicans shot 38 percent from the field and missed 31 attempts in the paint. New Orleans, which trailed by 26 after three quarters, also shot 13 percent from behind the 3-point line.

"We got some wide-open shots, but we just didn't knock them down. It happens," said guard Jrue Holiday. "Sometimes you go in there and it's not falling, even at the rim. I know I had a point-blank one at the end of the first half that I should've (converted). Sometimes it happens."

Ryan Anderson led the Pelicans with 17 points. Holiday and Tyreke Evans both scored 12 points and Anthony Davis and Austin Rivers chipped in 10 points apiece.

After Tuesday's contest, the Pelicans head north to meet Philadelphia, New York and Chicago.

The Warriors swept all four meetings last season.
