NC Governor Cooper pulling reverse jinx in NCAA bracket
Posted March 16
Raleigh, N.C. — North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper had the Tar Heels winning the NCAA Tournament in 2016. The most honorable fan in the state almost had it right, but Villanova's Kris Jenkins had the final say in Houston.
Cooper likes North Carolina's chances to get back to the Final Four this season, but changed his approach when filling out the official bracket inside the Governor's Mansion. Spoiler alert: Cooper is going for the reverse jinx in the regional finals.
The Governor's bracket is heavy on ACC programs. Cooper has North Carolina, Duke, Virginia, Florida State and Louisville making the Sweet 16. He expects the Tar Heels, Blue Devils and Cardinals making it to the next round.
