College Football Playoff set; Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Washington will compete for National Title — The College Football Playoff is set. Unanimous No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson, No. 3 Ohio State and No. 4 Washington will compete for the 2016 NCAA National Championship. In one New Years Eve semifinal, Alabama and Washington will play in the Peach Bowl. In the other New Years Eve semifinal, Clemson and Ohio State will play in the Fiesta Bowl. The semifinal winners face off Jan. 9 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida in the championship game. Big Ten Champion Penn State finished ranked No. 5, Michigan finished No. 6.
