National Signing Day is April 11th but the signing period runs through May 26th I believe.

Thank you, I knew it was around that time frame. I noticed several McDonal's All American players were uncommitted. Guessing there are several schools on pins and needles until signing day gets here.

Jefferson has all but signed with Duke. His father, HS coach, twitter acct say so. Sorry Pack, at least you guys still have a really good class coming in. But no, Jefferson will not be attending State.

Funny, the same thing was said about Harrison Barnes. I'll tell you what though, after Oriakhi gave your program the heisman today, you had better hope Amile chooses Duke.

And FWIW, given his recent comments, I would say he is anything but a lock to Duke.

@ KevinRDuffy: Kentucky and North Carolina among schools to contact Oriakhi since release, source says. Oriakhi will not consider Duke.

if calvin stays and jefferson signs with someone else that's fine...maybe then state will have a better shot at that 7fter juco guy from california or even oriakhi.

the draft declaration deadline is 29 Apr.

If CJL enters the draft, I think the Pack gets Amile. I would love for Amile to commit to State, but lets be honest, we would much rather have CJL back next year. I think its a win/win scenario for the Pack. That JUCO kid, Andrew Young, is pretty legit IMO. Whom ever lands him, will be extremely pleased. Oriakhi is interesting, b/c I haven't heard much about him and NC State in the same sentence....simply that we reached out to him. My guess is, he ends up in Chapel Hill. But you never know, with the questions going on over there with Harry, KButter5, and Hen-rock. I think we will see Duke, go after Shabazz and Parker more now, than Amile. Good luck competing against Calipari, Coach K.

Buckets--the NBA deadline is Apr 29. However these players have until the 10th to make a decision (NCAA deadline)

It has more to do with shabazz choosing duke or elsewhere. If shabazz goes to duke, Jefferson goes to state. If he goes to ucla or uk as expected, Jefferson goes to duke.
