RE: Hans, what will it take
butch: (4-8)(0-5)(0-5)(8-5) overall (12-23)
for kicks, lets throw in his staff last year after he was fired. (19-29) with a winning percentage of .396
o'brien: (5-7)(6-7)(5-7)(9-4)(8-5) overall (33-30) with a winning percentage of .524
obrien has had two of those five years with a majority of his starters out with injuries.
i don't buy the whole "if we had our players" with unc because if butch had kept his guys out of trouble and not being showered in gifts by agents and had a coach working for an agent on his staff, he would not have been down guys that one season. Still even if you counted that one season, we still have one more where we were without our good players a good portion of the season. Our injuried were eligible while unc's players weren't.
so if you look at the last 5 years NCSU>UNC yet unc fans insist UNC>NCSU. just forget about football. you are a basketball school, not a football school because unc fans do not care about football. if you go to IC, you can REALLY see how much unc is not that big of a football school and more just a basketball school.

A stunning trajectory...into mediocrity.
RE: Hans, what will it take
^^^^LOL @ that credible source.... NO ONE that controls TOB's job is on record as saying TOB was within 7 mins of losing his job. because he never was.
failure has become you.
again.

http://fanonfiresportswire.com/tag/coaches-on-the-hot-seat/Tom O'Brien: It seems Tom O'Brien has staved off disaster. With an upset of Clemson and a miracle comeback victory against Maryland, O'Brien has led N.C. State to bowl eligibility and a 7-5 record which is what I predicted he needed to keep his job. However, there are still some in the fan base who will not forgive O'Brien for the Russell Wilson debacle, and he will remain in their dog house until N.C. State consistently challenges for the Atlantic Division title. O'Brien has bought himself another season, but a losing season next year, and he will be done. - Posted by kato_karma.01

LOL @ the mediocrity.
5-year ACC record of 18-22.
5-year ACC record of zero divisional wins away from CF.
7 minutes from coaching his last game at NCSU.
