Damontre Harris? No discussion here in the Den!?
RE: Damontre Harris? No discussion here in the Den!?
Badger, you should remember I was never fond of Butch, not from the day he was hired.
And you obviously saw my smiling wink.
That said, I have no clue yet if pulling on this thread causes anything to unravel or not. My guess is there is something,

I gave you a smiling wink back, man. :)
I was just making a point that there is probably a lot more to Butch's phone records than anyone will find in our basketball coach's phones, and that if it would bring Butch's to light, we would GLADLY let you see ours. :)
I smile because I would love for that to happen. :)

RE: Damontre Harris? No discussion here in the Den!?
Dude knows State was recruiting him and he was interested. Now the kid wants to leave, and they want to hurt him by not letting him go where he wants -- a championship caliber NC State team.
When a program denies a transfer request, there should be rules in place that require the coaches to provide an acceptable reason for why they are denying the transfer. Normally, it's to keep kids from going to a team your team will be facing in the future. You don't want a kid taking intimate knowledge of your team to an opponent where it can be used against you. But State and USc are not playing each other (unless we meet in the big dance next year).
It is inexcusable for this coach to deny his right to transfer to NC State. He has no acceptable reason for doing so.

Unfortunately, he doesn't need a reason, acceptable or otherwise, for not giving permission to transfer. Of course, it isn't even the coach whose permission is required. It is, by NCAA rule, the athletic director who must give permission.
Denying permission does not preclude a transfer, nor does granting it allow the player to play at a new D-I school any sooner. However, if permission is not granted, the player may not receive a scholarship at his new school until he has been in attendance for one year.
The more publicity this gets, the greater the likelihood that USC's athletic director will see the light and give his permission. To do otherwise would probably hurt USC's recruiting in the long run. Then the question will be: is this an academic exercise, or does the kid actually want to come to State? I haven't heard him say one way or the other.

he may, but "those in the know" clearly do NOT.
hansy lives her life in a paradigm of negativity.... she can't break free, at least NOT when the topic at hand is, NC State.
sad??? of course.
funny to witness??? UNquestionably!

yep when someone associated with Carolina's deal denies it...you assume they are lying and call for records...of course his high school coach's denial is gospel. right? says so in the Bible of Hypocrisy. Now. Gonna start a movement to get to the bottom of things, continue to call for the worse punishments without definitive proof, and, after many get shellacked for nothing, continue to disparage the program for cheating? Remember that "pattern" thinking...hmmm...cj takes benefits, still on the team. player caught endangering lives by doing a 100mph, prob stoned, and you defend him. hmmm, now inside recruiting taking place that P*sses off his current coach. No scandals right? quick, run to the Bible to give out the holy excuses and rationalizations. Cue it up gentlemen.

Fair enough. No need to belittle those of us who know we have talent, more talent coming in, and coaches that know how to coach. And I said "championship caliber". It was not a prediction of a championship.
And like someone else said, you're disagreeing with others who are not just anonymous bloggers. I'm buying what Gott is selling. I never claimed State to be a championship caliber team since I can remember.
I just wonder what it will take to get you to buy in rather than being a continual troll just attacking when others agree with what people "in the know" have to say about us.
Like it or not, and I'm sure you don't, State is a championship caliber team now. Meaning we have what it takes to get there. It's just a matter of going out and doing it.

So request the records. His school phone is subject to public records laws. Go for it. I do wonder what you would be saying if these coaches had zero calls on their NCSU-provided phones, though. Especially if a judge ruled you could see those "private" records and never got them.

Jack, this is about the third or fourth time you have mentioned that a State player was caught doing 100 mph, and "prob" stoned. Do you know for a fact if either or both are true, or are you just throwing out those 2 things to try and make him look worse than he may be? What does "prob" stoned mean? That you "think" he "might" have been "stoned" when he was "maybe" doing "100 mph", "maybe?".
What gives?
RE: Damontre Harris? No discussion here in the Den!?
^^^^correct.
the mentally challenged one you're addressing is making a WILD ASSUMPTION, that because PARAPHERNALIA with a "trace" of marijuana on it were found in one's possession, that AUTOMATICALLY means that person drives while stoned.
LMBAO!!!
based on this mental midget's "logic", every person that owns a gun (by virtue of the black market) will eventually, "probably" use it to kill someone.
LMBAO!!
how embarrassing for it.
