Wow, this coming from one of UNC's biggest trolls, I am shocked. Hum, use like I said, twice I think. That statement refers to an earlier statement by meaning and has nothing to do with facts. However, you can always go back and check facts can't you? Facts are what they are and "Like I said" 10,000 posts from UNC fans will not change it. But I will say that my post was in response to a post by a UNC troll, I don't post negatively about UNC unless it is in a response to another post, can't say that can you? Hum, winning or trolls, which would make the most ABCers?

For those who remember, key members in Harris' group of advisors pretty much blocked out State during his recruitment out of high school. Kind of ironic how things turned out.

Here's the story. The original 26-team exclusion is now down to just other schools in the Big Ten.;_ylt=Aiifn2GNr26JFe7f3kAK6qXevbYF

For an interesting twist, check into the Bo Ryan (Wisconsin coach) deal on ESPN radio this morning on the Mike & Mike show. Heard a bit about it on 99.9 FM this afternoon, he painted himself in a hell of a corner on a transfer, makes Frank Martin look reasonable by comparison.

P.S. He's no relation to me, so don't even start.

Did anyone mention that the South Carolina AD is Eric Hyman and he was an associate athletic director at NC State years ago? Wonder if there was any bad blood?

It sounds like Coach Martin is a tough hombre. If the player isn't going to play for anyone in his conference, it really shouldn't matter where he goes to school. No coach should be able to have this power over a player that wants to transfer.

If Damontre wants to come to NCSU it still can happen. It does not matter what Frank Martin or the AD at South Carolina does or says. Which btw this will only hurt their program in the long run. H.S coaches will black ball them and kids will not want to play for them either. Damontre can still come to State (he will sit out a year) but will have to pay for 1 year of school at NCSU (and i think he can still get financial aid). However, after that year is up. He can receive a scholarship for his 3 remaining years to play ball at State.

You are correct. But the biggest issue that he is not addressing is that State took actions themselves instead of waiting for the NCAA to come after them. As of right now he is suspended from all practices with the team, that might be temp. or permanent depending on the outcome of charges against him. As far as Leslie, State self-reported the violations to the NCAA, again instead of waiting for the NCAA to come after them. And Leslie was punished by State according to NCAA guidelines. Because their program got caught for some major violations, some UNC fans try to make minor violations of another school a major issue. But like I said, in both cases State self-reported to the NCAA, co-operated with the NCAA and State imposed punishment before the NCAA even started an investigation. In UNC's case, they did not self-report anything until the NCAA already informed UNC that they were under investigation, they did not co-operate with the NCAA investigation in the beginning, and they did not impose any punishment until after they were informed by the NCAA that they were under investigation. All these facts are easy to check. Like I said, some UNC fans want to try and make major issues out of minor ones to tell themselves that State are bigger cheaters than their school is, but the facts are that State has shown integrity and done the right thing when an issue has come up and UNC hasn't. If it makes them feel better, they can try and spin it anyway they want to, it really doesn't matter because State fans and everybody else has seen the difference in the way the two schools handles things. The integrity of the two programs is shown by the way they handle the issues, there is not one thing that shows that State did not act with integrity and honesty in their investigations, while you sure can't say the same about UNC. It is what it is and 10,000 posts from UNC fans will not change it.
