Best Season?

Which team had the best basketball season this year? DUKE? STATE? UNC? All things considered (not just numbers), I would say STATE. Didn't win as many games yet achieved a very solid end where DUKE and UNC faltered and fell flat at the end.
No titles for anyone!

Definitely State - Sweet 16 in March. ACC and National Champs in April. Show me one other team in the HISTORY of college b-ball that has improved so much in less than a month. Amazing.

it cant be duke. there were a few points here and there from being .500 in the acc. if they dont land amile and parker, they wont be a top 3 acc team next year.

How does losing the best point guard in the country and not having your best defender at full strength qualify as faltering and falling flat. Anyone with any amount of common sense had to know that UNC's chances of going deep after injuries to Marshall and Henson weren't very good. Again that would take common sense. And before some child chimes in with UNC fans always make excuses, these happen to be facts as well as a part of the game. What I do find funny is State fans counting their chickens before the eggs have hatched.

If you're basing this off of expectations then State had the best year, no doubt. Carolina and Duke can ONLY meet expectations on a yearly basis if a national championship is involved. I can live with that.

Carolina was 32-6 overall, regular season ACC champs and 4-1 vs. Duke and State. Unfortunately major injuries derailed the season and anyone who understands the sport knows this to be true. Still by UNC standards it was a bad season.

The sky's the limit, baby. I'll be betting the farm on State, so money will be no option. I'm thinking of taking the gang down to the Caribbean for a few days and jetting back for the games. Take a chopper to the Dome from wherever we stay. Party with Wolfpack Nation all night long. It's going to be incredible.
