Seems like the news article gave a pretty specific number, not a rounded off number. This entire thread is based on how UNC rounded up their numbers instead of giving a specific count. How pathetic!

You might want to check out attendance numbers from other programs around the country. Seems to be a lot of rounding up going on. Like I said earlier, who really cares!?

I completely understand why a team would ESTIMATE their SPRING GAME attendance... but, what I canNOT understand is why any team would ESTIMATE or "round up" the attendance of their Regular Season game... your thoughts?

When the NCAA determines UNC's regular season attendance reporting to be a problem, they will be sure to inform TBK...who will then communicate any inappropriate findings to this audience -- unless, of course, someone has a link indicating a failed (past tense) external audit or the like.
20.9.6.3.2 Certified Audit. In meeting the football-attendance requirements of Division I-A, an institution must undertake an annual certified audit verifying its football attendance. The audit must be conducted by an outside auditing firm. The audited football paid-attendance figures must be received in the NCAA national office not later than the February 15 following the completion of the football season and NCAA national office staff shall verify compliance with all I-A attendance requirements. The certified audit and materials (including the ticket manifest) must be available for inspection for a four-year period.

NC State isn't the school losing scholarships.
NC State isn't the school banned from the postseason.
NC State isn't the school wondering whether or not their fanbase cares about football.
Those problems are left for UNCheat

This is all irrelevant because it was a rainy, cold, dreery day on Saturday. During UNC's Spring Game, the weather was perfect. No excuses.

don't waste your time...let some kid go under the cloud of suspicion for attending a party and accepting some trinkets, and the wolpfack nation screams for heads for months. even now they act like someone actually committed a crime, instead of doing some dumb teenager stuff that violated the rules of a group of hypocrites like the ncaa. Yet, when one of their own, gets caught with a marijuana grinder,(used by dealers or regular smokers to clean their weed),and then gets caught driving a 100mph, no license, no plate, no registration, illegal tinted windows, and has such a high disrespect for the court, he doesn't even show to face the charges, well...they DEFEND HIM AND SAY HE SHOULD STAY ON THE TEAM. Criminal activities that could have easily ended with a vanful of dead kids...they defend this azzhole. Tells you everything about the warp sense of fairness some members of this fanbase embody. No use arguing with such folks. Now cue up the smartazz comments from the trolls, who must have never attended a funeral of someone killed by a drunk or intoxicated driver who was stoned and driving too fast...I say f*ck these eediots.
