NC State fudges Spring Game attendance

RE: NC State fudges Spring Game attendance

who must have never attended a funeral of someone killed by a drunk or intoxicated driver who was stoned and driving too fast

LMBAO!!!

LMBAO!!!!

you could simply NOT be MORE ruined by the REALITY that State and Duke have had players "get off".... do you seriously NOT know that pastel pansies athletes have DONE THE SAME ("gotten off" of charges)???

I almost feel pity for you.... you're clearly a very bitter person.

And yet I am sure you and other UNC fans cheer for one Anthony Jerwade Blue each weekend. Why no uproar about the "vanful of kids" he could have killed. Both made poor decisions and both were or are being punished.

Here's a fact for ya.....

http://blog.al.com/bn/2008/03/southeastern_conference_at_75.html

Coming in at #18 on the top 25 list of all-time NCAA cheats NCheatSU. Guess who is nowhere to be found on that top 25 list? That's right, UNC. I love facts.

LMBAO!!

here's the BEST FACT....

your LINK, is FOUR YEARS OLD!!!

since that date, your beloved pastel pansy U has been RUNG UP with MULTIPLE CHARGES...

time for an UPDATE, history buff!!!

LOL, don't you hate it when FACTS end up SLAPPING you in the face??? sucks even worse, when they're YOUR OWN FACTS!!!

BahahahhahahahhhahahahhahahaaSLAP!

And your wolpfack has added several charges as well. Care to provide a link showing UNC on that list now?
- Posted by heelsfaninraleigh
don't waste your time...let some kid go under the cloud of suspicion for attending a party and accepting some trinkets, and the wolpfack nation screams for heads for months. even now they act like someone actually committed a crime, instead of doing some dumb teenager stuff that violated the rules of a group of hypocrites like the ncaa. Yet, when one of their own, gets caught with a marijuana grinder,(used by dealers or regular smokers to clean their weed),and then gets caught driving a 100mph, no license, no plate, no registration, illegal tinted windows, and has such a high disrespect for the court, he doesn't even show to face the charges, well...they DEFEND HIM AND SAY HE SHOULD STAY ON THE TEAM. Criminal activities that could have easily ended with a vanful of dead kids...they defend this azzhole. Tells you everything about the warp sense of fairness some members of this fanbase embody. No use arguing with such folks. Now cue up the smartazz comments from the trolls, who must have never attended a funeral of someone killed by a drunk or intoxicated driver who was stoned and driving too fast...I say f*ck these eediots.

Exactly!!!

RE: NC State fudges Spring Game attendance

NC State isn't the school on probation.
NC State isn't the school losing scholarships.
NC State isn't the school banned from the postseason.
NC State isn't the school wondering whether or not their fanbase cares about football.

Those problems are left for UNCheat

all VERY valid and FACT laden.

well done.

those FACTS are the type that leave pastel pansies hot and bothered.... therefore, I like 'em.

ah yeah....

I believe that UNC's NINE major infractions recently is more than NC State has in their entire history. Again, NINE major infractions. Nine. 9.
And they could have easily found more, had they wanted to. The academic fraud/cheating only came to light well after the initial investigation was concluded, and the NCAA decided to not press much further as they already had charged UNC with NINE major infractions.
And these infractions are not of the "ticky-tack" variety like State got after we INVITED the NCAA to investigate in the late-80's. Yeah, we invited them...they didn't come calling, and weren't going to unless some actual proof came out.

No, the UNC violations were far more serious than players selling shoes and complimentary game tickets, which happened back then pretty much everywhere...they were the violations the NCAA would find when the couldn't find anything else. And at NC State, they found nothing else. No academic fraud, no players getting paid or being given gifts, trips, women, tutors to write papers for them.....nothing like what UNC was doing.

Believe it all you want. You would be wrong. Unless you'd like to provide a link?

And we all know that sleeping on a friends coach is not ticky tacky, right? And one of those infractions, as you like to scream, was for failure to monitor social networking. Which wasn't even a rule until the NCAA charged Carolina with 'violating' it. That's not ticky tacky either, right?

As for the academic issues, those were discovered by and reported by Carolina, not the NCAA.

How is the poem writing going for your basketball players???

RE: NC State fudges Spring Game attendance

Here's some more pics to give an idea of how many were at the State game. I'd say easily it was 24k.
This is the end zone. Pretty significant amount of people there.
http://media2.newsobserver.com/smedia/2012/04/21/20/46/hmZGu.St.156.jpg

http://media2.newsobserver.com/smedia/2012/04/21/20/46/m934a.St.156.jpg

Here's what people had to endure to see the game:
http://media2.newsobserver.com/smedia/2012/04/21/20/46/8ueJ2.St.156.jpg

http://media2.newsobserver.com/smedia/2012/04/21/20/45/18Cpud.St.156.jpg

http://www.newsobserver.com/2012/04/21/2016852/first-look-nc-state-kay-yow-spring.html

Now, regardless of the real numbers, I think we can all agree that there's no doubt there were far more people at the State game than the UNC game, and based on those pics, I think it's pretty easy to believe there were 24k at Carter Finley. Easily enough people there to fill the upper and lower sections on one side and then some, so 24k is legit.

Now, out of 70 pics on Charlotte Observer's site (notorious UNC homer paper), these are the best pics of the crowd they had. Wonder why?
http://media.charlotteobserver.com/smedia/2012/04/14/18/47/457-u9DVN.St.156.jpg

http://media.charlotteobserver.com/smedia/2012/04/14/18/48/927-16MQ0U.St.156.jpg And I'm serious, those are the best ones. I didn't cherry-pick. There is just no way there were 10k people there, much less 17k, just like there weren't 25k or whatever they claimed when Butch was still there two years ago. They simply lie. If you make an estimate, and it's a little bit off, that's okay, but when you do it and it's constantly WAY off, you are lying. Or really bad at your job. In UNC's case, it's simply lying.

You can show all pictures you want, but I was there. Were you?

As jgunn noted above, Carolina fans were sitting throghout the entire stadium, while state, had most fans cluster in one area. I'm quite sure this was done on purpose so as to make your crowd appear larger than it was!! Carolina EASILY had 1/4 of the stadium full and probably more. For you math-challenged wolpfackers 1/4 of 60,000 = 15,000.

tell us again how Mustafa might have been HIGH when he was BUSTED driving 100mph.... just to prove for everyone (once again) how big of a blathering dolt you truly are.

that part (you proving how mentally weak you are), literally NEVER gets old!!

thanks again, LYING one.

RE: NC State fudges Spring Game attendance

Phil Ford almost killed THOUSANDS of people, according to ssjack's FAILED attempt to rationalize.

I feel so sorry for it.... having to live life with less than three digits in its intelligence quotient.

how embarrassing that must be (for those that have to care for it).

People kill people every day too. What's your point?

If you are trying to defend driving 100 mph because 'people do it EVERY DAY', I guess that works for murder too, huh?

not surpisingly... YOU missed the point... people DO drive 100mph every day, and do kill people every day, but ssjack has attempted to imply (on multiple occassions) that Mustafa was "LIKELY STONED" while driving that fast... he GOT PULLED, and WAS CITED, but somehow we're supposed to believe that the officer wasn't intelligent enough to spot a driver that's "under the influence"... nevermind that they're TRAINED for it.

Phil Ford = attempted manslaughter (ON MULTIPLE OCCASSIONS)

just ask ssjack, he/she'll tell ya.

You, my friend, are dead wrong, on several counts.
First: UNC did NOT, repeat, NOT get hit with ANY punishment for the Twitter stuff. None, zero, nada. So that part is dead wrong. Now, those things DID help alert the NCAA which triggered the investigation and subsequent uncovering of all the cheating, but in the final report, there was no punishment for "failure to monitor social media".

Second: In the State/NCAA situation of the late-80's,(which is what I was referring to) there was no incident of anyone sleeping on anyone's couch. That was David Thompson in the early 70's, and yes, that was a completely ridiculous charge, given that he was already signed with State and staying with a friend really was of no benefit that helped us get him...and it SURELY pales in comparison to tutors doing work and giving money to players, professors passing athletes that plagiarized (which means just passing them and not reviewing their work), etc, etc, etc. It's not even close. Only thing in the V situation was what I stated earlier. Look it up on the NCAA's site. Public information.

Third: The academic issues were NOT, repeat WERE NOT "discovered by UNC and reported to the NCAA". They were discovered when the NCAA was interviewing a player, I believe it was Little, with UNC reps in the room, and Little inadvertently disclosed the violations. The NCAA then ALLOWED Carolina to "self-report", even though it's not something they found on their own. This was well-documented back when it happened, apparently you weren't paying attention. But UNC did absolutely not find this in their own investigation and own up to it.

Further, the Michael McAdoo stuff was found after the documents were made public, by STATE FANS. Not by UNC. His cheating wasn't even found by his professor.

You evidently haven't read the NCAA's public final report. You should.

Several of my UNC friends were there, and they told me no way there was 17k there, or even close, and certainly not 1/4 the stadium full. There's a reason that homer papers like the N&O and Charlotte Observer took very few pictures of the stands.

State fans also could sit where they liked, and just from the pics I linked, there were easily enough to fill the upper and lower stands on either side, and then some.
Plus, UNC is known for inflating their figures. State is known for estimating, then counting ticket stubs. There weren't any ticket stubs, but I'd take the State people's estimate over anyone at UNC's, simply due to UNC's past history of attendance fudging. Just go over any year of UNC football and look at the attendance of each game, and you'll know it's a joke.
