disturbing that they cannot be more honest in their crowd estimates. What are they afraid of? Why canâ��t they call it like it is? That they feel it is important enough to lie about speaks volumes about them, and says more about them than it does about the state of their football fan base. If they would lie about something as unimportant as this, what else would they lie about?

I can only think of one reason to lie about this. They must feel like it would hurt their recruiting to have a low turnout for their Spring game. I canâ��t think of any other reason. And that is the scary part. If they would lie about this for recruiting (assuming I am right in that assessment), then what else would they lie about in their recruiting?

It makes them appear to be willing to do anything to perpetuate the myth of the Carolina Way. The Carolina Way is apparently to lie and do whatever it takes to cover up anything bad. But we already knew that.

I got it. It's only unacceptable when it's about State, but this is acceptable?We're cheaters, liars, and you guys are the good guys. 26,000 divided by 25,000. Did you guys drop in your dollar? TBK, did you make change for a dollar? My post was over the line but yours wasn't?

Cuss, I'm not going to discuss attendance figures. Totally ridiculous argument, IMHWPO. As for the money donated, logic tells me that there were many kids there who gave NOTHING. That means, IMHWPO, that the money donated was left up to the ADULTS who obviously gave MORE than $1 each. But, hey, that's just MY logic.

yep... it appears that cuss thinks that NO CHILDREN attended the NCSU Spring game... and nevermind the family of 5... they're each responsible for a buck.

I was at both the UNC and NCSU game and I would estimate that if UNC had put everyone on one side the attendance would have been about even, however no where approaching 24K. You would basically have to fill the bottom and top of one side of either Carter or Kenan to get that number.

sadly.

but, rest assured, I would have given a buck for each of my kids too... so as to lend some sort of (needed) credence to your claim of $1 per fan.
