Jones and Paige-Moss Not Booed but Not Drafted

Jones and Paige-Moss Not Booed but Not Drafted

http://www.chapelboro.com/No-More-Tar-Heels-Selected-For-NFL-Draft/12976094
Was it the poor results or the poor work ethic, or a combination thereof, that resulted in such poor draft results for the Heels?

RE: Jones and Paige-Moss Not Booed but Not Drafted

Counting Russell Wilson, NCSU had 6 former players drafted and UNC had 2.

RE: Jones and Paige-Moss Not Booed but Not Drafted

State fans are obviously obsessed. Of course, if it was the other way around, we'd hear non-stop how much superior Carolina is over State. Oh, wait. Somebody already did that. My bad.

Well, your coach kicked RW out so you can't claim that one. Sorry. It's like a degree, you can go to school for 10 years somewhere, transfer, and graduate in a semester and the diploma will be only from where you graduate from. RW played his final year at Whiskey so he is a Whiskey player. Now to your point, the Pack did get a lot of guys in the draft late. Congratulations as the hard work payed off for those guys. I've already indicated my disappointment with Jones as he was projected 3rd round but did not even run a 40 in the combine. I think work ethic and sexxxy casual bit him and Paige-Moss in the keister and Powell went there out of shape. The other reason would be they only wanted to play for certain teams so they just did not bother to work out like Jones.

Since the Wolfies had so many NFL draft choices, why didn't they perform better last year? I remember Wolfies talking about all the UNC NFL talent but could not consistently win. So now it's time to relax in the manure like postings you Wolfies love to shovel and tell us why your team did not perform better last season.

RE: Jones and Paige-Moss Not Booed but Not Drafted

The coach did not kick Wilson out. I hate it when people try to rewrite history.

And the Pack performed better than the Heels.

RE: Jones and Paige-Moss Not Booed but Not Drafted

Happy to see this made your day.

RW has a degree from NCSU...Critical fail as usual

Actually, RW did get a degree from N.C. State. He had another year of athletic eligibility and transferred to Wisky to PLAY FOOTBALL. Of course, he had to take classes, too. I suppose he got ANOTHER degree from that one year. Don't know, don't care. Why would he return for Alumni Day/weekend if he WASN't an alum?

As for doing better, State DID do better than that NFL-laden team of yours. Why do you post things that aren't true, and then accuse State fans of being in manure? Get your facts straight smitty!

Not rewriting history, just know how these things go. TOBy wanted a 2 year guy, and RW was getting in the way. He had to get rid of RW or he would have lost Glennon. Pretty simple. No anger or hate, just stating how the world works. As someone else said, Glennon's camp played hardball and won.

You completely missed the point, but you are a Wolfie so, I will break it down into 3rd grade logic...

RW finishes school at NCSU, not Whiskey, get's degree from NCSU.

If RW had not finished his degree, transferred to Whiskey, got his degree there, he would be a Whiskey graduate.

RW did not finish his playing career at NCSU, he finsihed it as Whiskey, so he is listed as a draft pick from Whiskey. Check the NFL website it you think I do not speak the truth. Because I know you need the extra help...

http://www.nfl.com/combine/participants

Gosh, I guess they forgot the NCSU time, duh. You never answered the question about having all those NFL draft picks and still having a mediocre season. You lads should have been playing BCS with all that NFL talent.

Now, tell me how it feels to be a monumental fail, it looks good on you. The Godfather taking another Wolfie on a bass fishing trip and using him for bait.

Smitty who? My bad, I meant player, not grad. Nothing to do with RW getting a degree, however I think he did get something from Whiskey as he did graduate studies from there. OK, I fixed it.

So to the NFL laden player comment. As Mr. 79 pointed out, NCSU had more draftees than UNC this year, thus the Pack was the "NFL-laden team". So why didn't you Wolfies end up in a bigger bowl with all that talent? I'm just applying the same paddle of logic the Wolfies applied when our "NFL-laden team" did not live up to expectations.
