JFruit is prone to exaggerate. Even a cursory comparison of Williams and Peppers clearly shows that Mr. Mario has a long ways to go before equaling Julius' accomplishments/impact. He may indeed get there, but he most def ain't there yet...

I also forgot about Koren Robinson... even with his oft troubled career, he was still able to amass MORE TD's than unc's best receiver in the game.

However, I do think RW does not get near as good a look at the NFL if he would have been at NCSU. RW did what was best for him, Quote from Clueless.

Yep, coach kicked him to the curb and he moved on with life, Whiskey, and a 3rd round draft. I'd say the moving on worked pretty well for RW instead of coming back to sit on TOBys bench. Think about it, the illustrious Wolfpack coach was going to sit a NFL 3rd round draft choice so he would have a QB this year. I am a State fan that though that TOB could have handled the situation a lot better. I do think he gave into MG's pressure and don't care if you lose very qb you have, as a coach you do not guarantee anybody a starting job, only a chance to compete. Wilson was good for at least 2 more wins last year and there is not any guarantee that State will win more games this year than they did last year, no guarantee that they'll win as many with MG. You can't give up a star qb for one year to have a good qb for two years for the simple reason MG could get injured this year and you would still have nothing this year compared to maybe a great year last year. But the only flaw in your arguement is Wilson being a 3rd round pick, Wilson is the better qb but because of his height and style of play, MG will be a higher draft pick than Wilson.

Height and arm, yes a higher pick. Not sure how Glennon's movement in the pocket, footwork, speed, and balance will transfer to the NFL. He is a classic pocket passer so will have to go to a team that runs that style offense. It won't be the Pathers, Saints, or Green Bay. He will get his shot though.

Seriously, I really hope (and very much doubt, anyway) you did not go to UNC. That would really reflect badly on the education one receives there or the quality of student they will admit. Just pitiful.

You Wolfies even crucify the poor journalists at The Fan for poor english and lack of clarity (note recent articles). Again, this is just way too easy, and you want a free pass on being caught. Bet you used to go to the professors who gave you a "D" for that type of vague prose, and attempt to talk them into giving you a B. It's enjoyable to watch you try and defend all this instead of manning up and admitting there was a shortcoming and you got exposed.

No need to get all snippy JRoot...just because you've been caught in another "stiiirrrrreeeeetch". First of all, the NOW comparison for Mario would not bode well as he missed 2/3rds of last season. That said, Mario would have had to produce a career year to match Julius's 2011 production and impact and Pro-Bowl selection.
2010: Peppers had more tackles, .5 less sacks, more forced fumbles, more ints...and 1st Team All-Pro selection (something Williams has yet to do)
2009: Williams had 2 more tackles, but Peppers had more sacks, more forced fumbles, more ints and a TD to boot...and 1st Team All-Pro selection (something Williams has yet to do).

All things being equal, I'd take Peppers in his prime over Super Mario. In real life the only reason I'd take Williams is that he doesn't take plays off when it suits him.
