Let's see if I understand this AJ thing
He's all about himself and not the team - we're lucky we didn't get him.
He wanted to come to State, but his dad made him go to Duke.
CJ Leslie was and is 5 times the player AJ will ever be.
All AJ will ever do at Duke is set screens and flop.
He told our coaches he was coming to STATE, somebody said so on Pack Pride, so his lying shows his character and I'm glad we didn't get him.
He's got way too many flaws in his game and will never develop at Duke.
He would have totally disrupted our team with his me-first attitude.
Why would he go to Duke when State has the far better program?
He's controlled by his Dad, and that would have caused BIG TIME problems.
I never liked him. He has no heart.
He's Shavlik Randolph part II.
We're still a top 5 team without him.
Anything else?

Before we all take turns bashing Amile for his decision, remember...it was just that, his decision. He didn't owe STATE or any school any thing for that matter. You win some you lose some. We lost Amile, it is what it is. Let's wish the kid the best of luck, and we'll see him in the fall.
RE: Let's see if I understand this AJ thing
It's amazing how much State fans were in love with AJ before he committed to Duke, and now hes "overrated" and "soft." Anyone that says all AJ will do at Duke is set screens and flop, is out of their mind.
To those who have actually watched tape or done research on AJ, his game is anything but a traditional big man. He's 6'8" 190lbs.... He is more of a slasher than anything. He posted up in high school b/c he had a 6inch height advantage. He will be more of a Shane Battier or Luol Deng mold, like a hybrid 3/4. Especially as he adds muscle and bulk, and improves his outside shooting, he will eventually turn into a SF, especially in the NBA.
I would compare him to a Marvin Williams or Luol Deng out of high school, Battier already had a sweet 3pt stroke.
RE: Let's see if I understand this AJ thing
And as for the UK fans tweets yesterday..... absolutely classless, but that doesn't surprise me from such an arrogant, racist fan base like Kentucky.
RE: Let's see if I understand this AJ thing
He wants to get an education while playing ball and decided Duke was the school best for him. No need to get all Troll on the young man.

You missed one thing. He will do more than set screens and flop.
He will get some rebounds.
