That's why I don't like this format. State is the only team on the field that has to play under pressure. Carolina has nothing to lose.

Carolina is playing the role of spoiler, though. That's a LITTLE bit of pressure. They don't want State to add insult to injury. They're already eliminated from championship contention. They don't want State to get into the championship at their expense.

Why would it be an insult to lose to NCSU? Thought you guys were good enough to be on the same field. Those old Wolfie feelings of inadequacy popping up again. It's obviously hard for you to think like a winner. Hint: Act like you have been there.

Why do Carolina fans have such a hard time with reading comprehension?

I didn't say it would be insulting to lose to State. I used an old expression "to add insult to injury" which means to compound a bad thing with something else that is also bad.

The "injury" was being eliminated from contention. Losing to an in-state rival would be adding insult to that injury.

You took the work "insult" literally. Why didn't you also take "injury" literally, and ask me which Carolina player(s) got injured?
