Care to ID those who subscribe to the following?
1 - Opposed to religious freedom if that freedom includes Christians.
2 - Fully supports a double dose of food stamps.
3 - Condones media bias.
4 - We know you earned your money but we'd like to help you give it away.
5 - We support unemployment rates but only if they exceed 8% for lengthy periods of time.
6 - We support tolerance and diversity 100%.....unless, of course, you disagree with us. If you do, we'll just call you intolerant, bigoted, racist, etc. See how that works? :):):):)
7 - We want you to be very proud of who you are just as long as you're not a proud American. BTW....we make the rules & have no problem with hypocrisy.
8 - Fetuses DO NOT have rights in our world.
9 - That whole "freedom of speech" thing applies to us and us alone. How dare you?
10 - You may have a gun as long as you keep putting water in it.

You got that right! Golf is the only thing that I'm watching these days outside of the Olympic trials. I love track and field and am looking forward to the Olympics.
I've watched several PGA tournaments this year. Haven't watched the Olympic trials but I'll watch the Olympics just to see some amazing athletes in action. VT will be strong as usual but I won't be surprised if Fedora makes a big splash in his first season at Carolina.

^^^ Yea. I agree with UNC making a splash. The Hurry Up offense can cause some problems. VT lost all but one on the OL. Logan Thomas staying healthy is the major key. Our defense is going to be pretty special.

Yep...VT is one of those programs that just reloads & keeps winning.

We need to start strong. GT will be a tough battle in the opener. VT starts slowly. I hate that too.
It's a darn shame that we can't get anything much done in basketball though. Seth had a few really good years, and still didn't make it to the NCAA's in the last 5 years. I would say that we will be close to the bottom next season.

I wouldn't worry about slow starts given the current D-1 format. Better to drop one early versus later. IMO, there will never be a legitimate D-1 football national champ until they go to a legitimate playoff system that includes several teams, which is what other sports/divisions manage to do. I'm a football fanatic...just don't like certain teams/conferences getting catered too all the time. Hey, 4 teams is tremendous progress (lol). Maybe one day!

Many sports stories involve politics, religion, economics, and law. Few as much as this case.
Liberals are outraged, too. And can't rehab him. And recent stories have emails going up to PSU president, confirm Paterno knew, plus mention involvement of AG (now governor) in being slow to investigate.
What I find most amazing is that no one appears to have intervened on behalf of the young boys being abused. Can any of you imagine just going on about your life and not doing anything to stop the abuse? Just walked away?
My thoughts would have gone "I can't believe this", "No one else will either", to grabbing my phone and recording the encounter (depending on type of phone), taking a few seconds to send to two people before intervening.
