Official Football Predictions Thread

Since there are a number of them going on in Harr's pre-season ranking thread, let's go ahead and get an official thread going so we can refer back to it at year end. Trolls need not apply. Cast your ballot for State's season record.

Mine is 9-4 including a bowl game win. Losses to Maryland, Clemson, FSU, and WF.

Offensively, MG will get his yards because their running game is suspect and he'll be forced to fill-it-up. Defensively, State's secondary is as good as there is, but me thinks they will have trouble stopping the run. Overall, the ACC is a bit stronger, so 8 regular season wins will be a stretch.

What team are they going to play in their bowl game? Until I know that, it's kind of hard to predict.

What team are they going to play in their bowl game? Until I know that, it's kind of hard to predict.

Couldn't tell you. I'm not predicting the entire NCAA final standings here. Just yay or nay.

9-3 (5-3) going into either the Sun Bowl or the Russell Athletic (old Champs)

Losses to FSU, UNC, and Clemson.

I'm leaning towards 6-6, but I'll go with 7-5 again. I'm not predicting a bowl game until I see who they're playing.

Oh wow, THE OFFICIAL Kow Kollege football prediction....

Hmmmm.... if history proves itself, State wins their easy games, loses games that they shouldn't lose, lose to 1 team that they REALLY shouldn't lose to.

They start out slow and their season looks dismal, then they somehow spring back from death eeking out bowl eligibility and play in a meaningless bowl game, win the game and go 8-5, save Tom O'Brain's job, and say they are the best team since sliced bread. Don't forget the parade!

That's what I predict.
