Just because you did not know doesn't mean the NCAA did not.

Go back and read the reports including the faculty review. While the latter was not public until later, the information in it was provided to the NCAA.

OK. Maybe I don't know. However, IF the NCAA in fact had ALL the information about the academic problems that unc themselves are calling "institutional" then someone should be investigating the NCAA.

Of course they(NCAA) are informed now. Who is not? They were not informed of the 54 fake classes or false grades/ credits B-4 the ruling. They were aware that there was an AFAM Dept., but like 70 said "most of the AFAM mess was presented".

I suspect they care that MOST but not ALL was "presented" & ewenc is Scared. That's why after & in addition to being on NCAA probation for '12, they have investgated themselves internally, the SBI is ITH, & NOW they are creating ANOTHER investigation headed by a former NC Governor/ BOG member. That's, count'em, 4 investigations !

1) NCAA - FB probation '12
2) Internal - Fake classes, false grades/ credits
3) SBI - ?
4) "Independent"/ Outside - ??

Where there's smoke.....

If the NCAA comes to the State of NC they will be in chapped hole.
If they visit Raleigh they will checking out WOG HS.

BTW, R. Purvis is not enrolled in school or played BB at NCSU.
