from what i read, the family has been donating flights to the athletic before this yahoo got involved. as long as the transactions are transparent and within the rules i have no problem with it since it saves the wolfpack club money and it makes travel easier for the coaches. all major schools have boosters that donate flights, it just so happens that state has a knucklehead for a flight donor.
let the family continue to donate the flights but doosh mcqueen should stay away.
must be a slow day at the n&o to write an article about this.

This is no different than what Dr. Jordan's family does for UNC on a regular basis, so it must be legal and within NCAA compliance rules. Didn't UNC use a booster's aircraft to fly Roy Williams to NC to announce his acceptance of the basketball HC position? Yes, I think they did. Such trade in kind deals are acceptable by the NCAA as long as it does not include transporting recruits.

Apparently it just chaps your azz that the folks over at NCSU do the right things the right way. Either that or the fact that you can't make the same statement about UNC, or possibly both. Either way its hillarious.
