Clemson won't drop much in the polls after State beats them. They have SC the next week and any opponent of an SEC team gets a bump in the polls to keep that SEC rating higher. It will be nice to see the ACC take four from the SEC next week.

The pack needs to show up first and then play all 4 quarters.

By the time visitors make that climb to their seats they don't have enough energy left to cause trouble.

It is a tough place to play - the actual Death Valley might be preferable because of the lack of Clemson fans. That is one god-awful town; it's like a hillbilly version of "Land of the Lost." I'd rather take my chances against a hungry T-Rex than a drunken, methed-out Clemson fan.

Death Valley (the real one) is a hard place to play. That is one tough crowd. But I agree that if State plays like yesterday that they have a very good chance.

Don't see it next week. Too many lapses on offense today, IMHWPO. We weren't consistent enough. We missed how many FG's? The way we started (a great sign), we should have scored lots more, IMHWPO.

I like them too, but it's still a very daunting task. I'm sadly predicting a Pack loss. I'll be happy if we keep it close though.

http://espn.go.com/ncf/recap?id=323150152That was a quality win against WF today, with particularly good defensive play. If this "same team" shows up next week in Death Valley, I like the Pack's chances.
