If you don't blow a 16 point lead the refs don't cause problems at the end. Any team that blows a big lead and then starts to complain about officiating isn't seeing they're own failings on the court. Blowing the lead is the problem; not the refs!!
I don't recall saying the refs are the REASON State lost... I merely pointed out, that which is factual... does that (REALITY) bother you??
The "reality" of observing NCSU in "all" sports, over the years does bother me, as a matter of fact. Always hoping and wishing, but usually falling short; that is the "reality" of NCSU athletics as long as I can remember.
I remember them winning MULTIPLE BANNERS, kid.

Coaches were trying to talk with him on the sidelines, and he was shrugging them off. I thought his attitude had changed, but I see it has not.

Valentine calls late - 2 fouls on Wake against Leslie - and then should have been a TECH on Leslie as well. Bad night for referees. But good thing for Wake Forest. Helped them get the W. Along with our sloppy play, poor late shooting, and questionable coaching. Hope we get it together as a team! Quick. CJ, Scott, Lorenzo - this is your LAST chance together. Get it right now - Freshmen - team - do your part as well...Might can't win Nat Champ, but we can win ACC...Got to have more togetherness, attention to detail, and team defense, though.

I stated over 6 weeks ago, that if he gets off to a solid start, he usually does well. Foul trouble is when he doesn't show a positive attitude, or when he is missing shots.
He has one of the quickest 1st steps that I've seen in the ACC lately. He's a force when things roll his way. He could have been held to a tech last night or worse IMO. I'm glad that the offical didn't do this. I also believe that the official missed it when he was fouled with only a few seconds left. CJ needs to hold his emotions in check.
