So "guys" are girls...uh...you do realize just because they get a butch or short hairdo that does not make them a guy...might want to catch up on how societal norms have evloved. You don't have to like it, it's just what it is. I'd suggest you talk to your friends at the NCSU GLBT center for greater awareness.

Your unc reading comprehension skills are showing. You see, in the English language we designate somebody of the female variety as a "she." If you will notice, that is how I referred to my wife in the aforementioned post. Don't feel bad! We know that not everybody can get a tutor there.

NC State isn't ready for the spotlight yet. That doesn't mean it won't be, but the Wolfpack can't lose by 20 on a neutral court to an average Big 12 team and be the clear favorite to win the ACC.

Leadership/frontcourt depth will haunt NC State throughout the year. Whenever CJL decides to take a night off, the Pack will fall.

This is why I voted Duke as the preseason favorite in the ACC. NC State just isn't ready for the spotlight yet.

You are probably right. State did play awlful, but calling Oklahoma State an average Big 12 team remains to be seen. So far they are undefeated and ranked. They have the 2011 Big 12 rookie of the year on the team and may have the 2012 Big 12 rookie of the year on the team. They may be an average team but until somebody beats them, they may be one of the best teams in the country, that still remains to be seen. State did also play a horrible game, but that is going to happen, it will not be the only time this year, but those games should be few and far in between. That lose is probably what State needed to get over all the hype. They will lose a few but by the end of the year they will be very strong. If Leslie wants to have an attitude, Warren has proven he can replace Leslie so far. But Leslie's attitude will adjust, he is not going to give up being a lottery pick and the team will gel like they did last year but it will not take nearly as long. Within the next 4-5 games you should see a team playing as a team, and a very good one at that.

I've never been sold on Leslie. I think he's Julius Hodge all over again. Selfish, brilliant at times but a drag on the team at others. The most talented guys on our team appear to be freshmen right now, but Warren and Purvis can't win all by themselves. Brown has to do the work and lead the squad, and Leslie and Howell have to get mentally tougher, buy some big boy pants, something.

You are WRONG SIR!! Whether or not you liked Hodge he never ever quit on his team or gave less than maximum effort....EVER. In fact there were times when he may have tried too hard. Please don't confuse Leslie's inexplicable lack of desire with Hodge's never give up spirit.

I didn't say Hodge was lazy. I said CJ Leslie was selfish, brilliant at times and a drag on his team at others, all of which Hodge was as well. If you don't think Hodge was selfish with the ball, we weren't watching the same games. Besides, if he were that spectacular, why is he being cut from teams in Australia? Just because I'm a Wolfpack fan doesn't mean I have to be in love with every player to come through the place, and I never cared much for Hodge, JJ Hickson, or at this point, Leslie. I always liked the effort of Justin Gainey, Engin Atsur, Ilian Evtimov, and so far, Purvis and Warren.

So you do know that Hodge was involved in a serious auto accident that almost killed him after college and he has never been the same. I'm not sure but I think he still played for the Trailblazers after that but has never fully recovered from the impact the accident had on him.

Not into Freddie's lifestyle but the guy was one heck of an entertainer and band front man, tied in with absolutely and insanely good musical talent. The album cover for "Fat Bottomed Girls" still one of my all time favorites. I'm confident he does win the award for the most famous overbite.

Losses in November and December don't matter. Even great teams trip up every once in a while. Remember UNC in 2009? Dropped our first two ACC games to bad teams. Ended up winning a national title that year. Stuff happens.
